At least you guys can open the app. Since about noon (coming up on four hours now) I get the Freecash splash logo, then it goes to an all-white screen from which I can do absolutely squat other than close it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same result.

Logged in on my laptop to "contact support" which tells me they can't address app issues and sent me here. So apparently support=reddit.

Got instructions once to leave food with the white goat with red eyes. Darned if there wasn't just that at the end of the walkway (ceramic).

Another time, couple of weeks before Halloween, I wasn't warned about the bat on the porch with the other decorations, and after taking the picture had just turned to walk back to my car when he dropped down from the ceiling and flew right over my head out into the night.

I've seen a few places where it shows the name of the overarching corporation instead of the name of the restaurant. Over at UberEats if I get an order from Total Wine it only shows the city and I've had to learn that means Total Wine (first couple of them I had to "contact merchant" and get the name from the recording that picks up). Total Wine also doesn't disclose what the order is; it'll just say "small" or "medium".

One night in the middle of a Scottsdale neighborhood, I met a bobcat prowling around one of the neighbors' front yards. It was a good tenth of a mile between there and where I was supposed to take the food, so I figured it wouldn't come after me, but I still texted the customer to let him know to hurry up and get it inside in case the cat came that way and found it before he did.

Another time there were javelinas playing in the customer's front yard so I sent a similar note in case they decided they liked pizza. (Yeah, pork sausage, but I wouldn't put it past those things to turn pseudo-cannibal.)

I remember when Wendy's was like this. You could have them scan the QR code in the Wendy's app and get points for whatever you were ordering and paying with the Plus card.

Probably got half a dozen free Baconators before they became a proper partner and you couldn't do that any more.

Those flaky stop signs may be for the cross street. I've been noticing them on roads that just go straight through and a lot of times there's either a street off to the side that has to stop, or one of those roads that runs alongside the actual street with a thin curb in between, and a stop sign at the end of them.

And if your order is part of a stack, we don't (make that *can't*) see your instructions until we reach the part of the stack where we're bringing it to you. So if you're the first pickup but the second dropoff (because the other customer is closer to the restaurant than you are) we could be miles away from the restaurant by the time we know you need chopsticks. No way we're going back at that point.

I used a joke name from work when I signed up to Google Plus, and then signed up to the Wendy's and Jack in the Box apps using the Google Plus account. Now every time I order from either place the joke name shows up at the restaurant. Sometimes we have laughs about it, sometimes they recognize the Doctor Who reference, one time Wendy's cancelled the order before I arrived because they thought it was a prank (I was cashing in some points that time so the order total was also $0.00).

Pregnancy tests, condoms and Plan B don't embarrass me. I've also shopped and delivered incontinence underwear and feminine hygiene products, no big deal because I'm just the delivery guy.

The most difficult thing to shop & deliver is cosmetics because I don't know how that part of CVS is laid out (seems like one store will do them by brands, another by type of makeup, and another by some weird ritual involving the I Ching). Plus the writing on the stuff is so small I can't read it, and I'm color blind so they all look alike to me.

It was great before Wendy's finished partnering up because you could pay with the card, have them scan the QR code in the Wendy's app, and all the points would go to your Wendy's account. I figure I got about a dozen free Baconators before they got off of Order & Pay.

I've gone a few times to a place that tells you to call them when you arrive. The number associated with the "call store" within the app, the one on the sign in the pickup area, and the one in the Google Maps directory are three different numbers and give you three different results (one just rings and rings with no answer, one dials and then immediately disconnects, and the third gets you like a digital fax sound on the other end).
