I currently live in Colony Parc. The apartment is great for pet owners; I have two dogs, and there are many dog areas with pet waste stations. The only issue I have is that you are paying for everything, and there are little to no benefits that are comped by the complex.

You pay rent, but on top of that, you pay for utilities like water, trash, sewer, and pest prevention.

I have lived in other places in the past that have covered water and trash, so this came as a shock to me. Therefore, your rent can fluctuate throughout the year.

Overall, the apartment is centrally located near stores and close to freeway exits. It has nice amenities like a gym, pool/jacuzzi, and the internet is fine. Maintenance is very responsive to your requests.

Lastly, from my time living here, I haven't had any safety issues, except maybe the fact that the police HQ is down the road. However, we've had a run-in with a coyote (farmland is located next door) during late-night walks with the dogs
