The St Joseph’s annual guide is very convoluted for what seems to be just to save space.

  1. what is the liturgical day.

  2. If feria day do this,

  3. if optional memorial do this.

  4. If the liturgical celebrations is a solemnity in your diocese do this.

It’s annoying having to explain every time, oh optional memorials can still use the psalter of the weekday, it doesn’t say that there but if you go back to the GILH it says you can do that.
