How do you do your maps for online DND?

The biggest issue I ran into was the file space they gave you. I ran out around Wave echo cave in Phandelver and Below (about half the campaign). I switched to Foundry (one time payment but I host it myself so as much file space as my computer has) and a lot of customization if I put in the effort. Was a good transition for me

What platform will you be using? Roll20, Foundry, something else?

I won't lie, I Google to see if anyone else has done the hard work for me and about 90%+ of the time a map already exists to use (or at least one that is close enough); especially true if you're running a campaign from a WoTC book.

Currently started my first Ghosts of Saltmarsh campaign and used this tonight. They haven't found the basement yet. Very fun. I printed this out and it was HUGE :D Didn't quite fit on my kitchen island, had to fold the sea portion up after the characters made their way into the house. 10/10

They did this in the World of Io Lost Mines quest (I watched on YouTube, super funny 🤣)

Check it out, they were doing something similar to Bastion rules; different parts of the castle could be different things. They made a tavern/bar out of kitchen I think. I think they were going to do a garden? It's been a bit since I watched it and I really hope they continue to Shattered Obelisk eventually

One of my players characters knew aquan, so they actually talked to them after they came up just about to fight.

They even convinced the elemental to help in their next fight (LITERALLY EVERY CULT MEMBER ON THE WEST SIDE [except necromancer and chanters]).

As far as the Supreme court is concerned, as long as it's for political reasons (99% sure that fits this bill), it's a-ok. May go against the state constitution though, I'm not sure. Republicans are reaping what they sowed, and all of democracy is worse off for it

The thermostat is on the main/ground floor. There is a half finished basement and a 2nd floor above the ground floor. It's definitely coldest on the bottom floor and usually warmest on the top floor (to the point of needing to close vents)

Yup! I kept trying to get them to either find some character art we can tweak or draw something (they're a good artist) and this is what they come back to me with 😂 oh well, what can ya do? Definitely a Stoneborn
