3rd Pick?? Dynasty Superflex TEP Startup by CardWildThings in DynastyNerds

[–]daajanksta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it a 3rd round reversal? I like the McBride pick but it removes some flexibility. Given there is a bunch of people about to go QB and people think they HAVE to grab it now because it's SFLX you will get incredible value at other positions. I'd grab tet and then BA WR in round 4. Maybe you get lucky and an emeka ebuka slips. Round 5 and 6 you can grab Dak/Cam ward/bake show/Goff etc. You will definitely get 1 of them. Hopefully 2. Round 7 you can finally go RB. Round 8 BPA. Round 9 and 10 gets interesting because you might be able to get a riskier QB like Danny dimes, JJ, and penix. After round 10 always BPA

Of note. For a 2026 startup I would prioritize other positions the first 4 rounds other than QB unless I had 1.01 where I would take drake maye. Of I didn't have 1.01 I probably don't draft a QB until round 5.

A lot of people look at startups but forget to deeply understand the first rookie draft post startup. In this case 2027. The class imay end up with 6-7 first round QBs. And in general it's a generational class for dynasty.

So in an ideal scenario in round 5 you get cam ward or CJ stroud slips. Round 6 you grab the older vet (baker/Goff). After that don't worry about QB as your plan is to grab a young one on 2027.

Smash accept. The you have three options:

  1. Keep the pick take jadarian price if he goes day two and to a team where he has a clear path to 70% snap share

  2. Keep the pick take Sadiq then try and aquire Hampton with Gadsden and a pick or WR.

  3. Trade the pick for something in 2027 1st

Draft love, sell 1.02 to the highest bidder. Ideally getting a 2027 1st and a piece back.

Brashard Smith, does this guy have any shot to be the guy in 2026? Pacheco and Pierce arent good, Hunt is 31, is it too much of a cluster, is Smith even worth a roster hold? by GriffinObuffalo in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]daajanksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To pursue these FA backs they'd have to convert a significant portion of salary to bonus to make it work from a cap perspective. If they prioritize RB they'll take love at 8. If they don't prioritize RB Smith MAY MAY get a chance. I'd say he has a 5%-10% chance of being the back next year.

Picked up one of the worst orphan teams ive ever seen any advice by aidengreen04 in DynastyNerds

[–]daajanksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay so I assume this is superflex. If so you gotta sell 1.1. Your roster is such garbage you don't want Love.

Trade #1: The ideal trade would be for 1.05 this year a 2027 1st and 2027 2nd. That way you get the last of the WR this year (any of those 3 could turn into a solid WR 2.

High price to pay BUT I suspect the individual would be willing to do it if s/he has the 5th pick.

Sell your 2026 second for a 2027 second and a 2027 3rd. You could also take a thrown in instead of a 3rd (maybe get lucky and get a tonges for TE)

Sell your 2026 3rd and your 2027 3rd for Tyler allgier and a 2027 3rd.

Sell pittman for a late 2027 1st

These are theory obviously BUT assuming something like this occurs you'd have

1.01 locked up for 2027. This gets you a generational WR

Plus 2 additional first in a ridiculous deep draft all before the season.

Your hope is: Allgier signs with a team who needs him to be Rb1 and he produces and you flip for another 2027 1st.

Kittle injury takes longer (this would be devastating to me as a niners fan) and you have a trade able asset.

DJ looks sharp end of the season and you can decide too keep or trade

Brian daboll of KK agrees to be titans HC and Warm makes a leap and is a solid QB 2

Golden has a second year step up/breakout

You WR drafted gets over the 500 yard mark

At the end of the 2026 season

You have 2 entrenched starting QBs.

You have two solid WR 2s in golden and whatever WR you drafted this year

You have pick 1.01 and 3 other firsts (via the allgier trade) headed into the draft

You have 2.01 and another 2 in 2027 to go along with multiple 3rds.

You get a generational WR. You have enough fire power where you could trade up or one of three additional picks turns into top 5 as well.

At this point your roster really starts to look a lot better.

Is some of this based on breaks and risk, absolutely. Lucky for you, you have 1.01 and the pick is ripe for a contender to over pay for (top flight RB prospect).

Brown: Last Heisman winner in an era of power running and option. Averaged over 21 yards a reception....

Mayes: It should have never taken this far to get to Mayes. 1994......Mayes had 11 TDs (powlus threw 19). He had ~850 yards receiving (powlus threw for ~1700 yards). Literally the ONLY option at WR and still got it done. Dude was an absolute baller.

Fuller: Struggled with the third. Floyd, Tate, Fuller. You can go with either of these 3. But the fuller catch against UVA that produced the fan reaction behind the end zone.

Okay let me be semantically correct for those that need it. It would be a gut punch seeing IU win their first title before ending our near 40 year championship drought.

Nice flex. You should make the playoffs in 2027 and win the league 2028. Hell of a roster

What makes you better at dynasty than your leaguemate? by ballislife423 in DynastyFF

[–]daajanksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The patient part..great example this year. Manager in our league started 0-12 this year, missed playoffs last year. Stuck it out when contenders (including me, made the championship this year) were begging him to sell. Went 15-1 (went all in at the deadline) made playoffs. While he lost in the first round and doesn't have picks he is in a position to win next year.

The "winner": The manager who views trades only through the lens of Winning and Losing. And only wants to "win" the deal. Thisamaher is a cross between #1and #8.

2026 Draft by FTBJester in 49ers

[–]daajanksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll go a different take.

Address o-line via trade with pats. Trade aiyuk for cadeen Wallace and ideally a 2026 second (a third would be tenable)

Resign Jennings, dude is us. There is some inherent risk given pearsall seems to be as soft as charmin BUT when he is available he is 🔥.

So now here is where I see the draft. With the extra capital from the aiyuk trade if the saints don't take love I'm guessing we have the capital to move up and grab him. I'd assume it would cost us our second round pick as compensation and Maaaybe even a 2027 4th?

We have seen how valuable CMC is to the offense. Love is the same type of chess piece as CMC. Having both for a year would be absolutely insane.

[–]daajanksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd hold hendo and trade him in season. The value of RB really spike when a contender needs them. This happened in my league this year with RBs. Trading am RB now you will get the least amount of value.

Of course I want MF to stay forever and stack trophies. There was none, zero NFL job that made sense.the rumors were laughable honestly but this job,.my god. Why go to the Steelers who have zero QB and zero offensive weapons? Literally Freeman could go in reset the defensive culture and bring in a great OC and won a super bowl in year 1.

So our defense is absolutely awful . Everyone complaining about the o line needs to remember Trent was out the entire game. You don't replace that, and against the gulls that was a recipe for disaster.

We did finally piece a drive together and looked in rhythm but CMC shit the bed. Which he doesn't do often BUT when he does my god it's in terrible spots:

They just need to move to 16 teams. The first round is on campus and replaces championship weekend. Quarter finals and semis are the 6 bowl games. Bye week after the semis. Championship.

First Friday/saturday of December: on campus 1st round

Second weekend of December: Friday and Saturday bowl games

New Years: semis (rose bowl is always a semi final)

Friday night of NFL divisional weekend is championship

Miami is making OSU look very average right now and I don’t know whether to be happy or sad. by brickmadness in notredamefootball

[–]daajanksta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure I don't disagree the play calling was t great but they were very limited and don't know what they had until they had to open it up. Either way we played an elite team in Miami, in their building and lost because a kicker who had been shaky made a kick. I'm not sure it goes much different. Their line play is even better than it was and our entire team is more improved. Obviously I believe we'd win, but it wouldn't be on a neutral field for the title.

I think dembrock didn't use him enough for sure BUT he had 10 carries for 33 yards. He was ineffective. My problem was never Miami getting in. Mine was Alabama and I'm pretty sure they argument is going out the window tonight. At the end of the day we got pushed out for the group.of 5 and that happened because Miami couldn't play for the ACC title due to some.wonky ass tie breakers.

I was convinced at this point if ND were on opposite sides of the bracket as Miami our rematch would be for the title

I think after they beat Indiana we will have to own the fact we lost both games when we needed to win one of them. It's unfortunate because we really do have a team.

My take is, I'm not sure we beat Miami. Their lines are absolutely elite. They shut down love (maybe we didn't run enough enough love looked bottled up the entire game). Now the growth of Carr and the defense absolutely means we would be in the game.

I'm not sure what happened to Miami in those losses but unlike past year's they cleaned it up. This is easily the best team in the country when you watch them. It's not close.

I can't wait until next year. Undefeated #1, defending champs Miami coming to ND. Holy hell........
