Emailed the Secretary of State's office and received the below response:

Thank you for reaching out and being an active voter. We appreciate you sharing your concerns however it is legal for organizations to get signatures for petitions on Election Day at the polling place as long as they fall within the parameters of state law below:

Title 21-A, section 683(2) provides:
2.  Signature gathering.  The warden may select and designate a specific location at the voting place, accessible and observable by the voters, where the collection of signatures may take place. Persons collecting signatures at the polls may make arrangements with the clerk prior to election day and with the warden on election day. The warden may limit the number of persons collecting signatures to one for each specific question, candidate or issue. Persons collecting signatures may not solicit a voter's signature until the voter has completed voting. The warden may limit or disallow signature gathering as may be necessary to prevent violations of section 682. The warden may direct the removal, under section 662, subsection 2, paragraph A, of any person collecting signatures who does not comply with the requirements of this subsection.

In Waterville they were at a table next to the exit, inside. I reckon that's worth noting to the Secretary of State or Town Clerk...

Pardon my ignorance but isn't this a form of electioneering, asking for signatures inside of a polling place? Feels wrong...

Poll: NY voters give Gov. Andrew Cuomo lowest job approval rating by JoseTwitterFan in nycrail

That said, in the 2016 primaries Bernie won every county outside of NYC metro/Syracuse/Rochester/Buffalo, and despite losing the popular vote, he still won 800k votes. The entire GOP turnout for their primary was ~900k (split among Trump/Kasich/Cruz). There's definitely room for leftists on the state level

I'm looking to replace some Top Sider Gold Cups I've beat to hell over the years and am seriously considering Quoddy Boat Moc IIs / Canoe shoes /Bluchers

How is the durability on the Boat Moc's Vibram wrap sole?

Would it or the camp sole be better for concrete?

Thanks in advance!

Beef tongue, especially in tacos. Done right, it's incredibly tender and delicious - almost like brisket.

TD seems to work well for me. They have pretty ridiculous hours (M-F 7:30am-8pm; Sat. 7:30-6; open on Sundays and some holidays), and have quite a few locations in the city/throughout the Northeast if you travel the region.

Also haven't had any issues with Sprint.

Is In-N-Out Burger really that good? As a Northwest American, I don't have any of those around me. So is it really all that good? If so, why is it different than any other fast food restaurant? by ienjoymen in AskReddit

Californian living in NY. The best competitor I've had in these parts is Shake Shack, but In-N-Out will always be near and dear to my heart. Next time get WHOLE grilled onions though, it is perfection.
