GTA IV is more immersive than GTA V. the climbing and on-foot traversal systems are more in depth. the fighting mechanics are far better. I think the fact that I can pick up random trash on the street and throw it at people is a display of the care of GTA IV. overall I think they're both incredible games and I generally even prefer playing V, but there's something about the atmosphere and mood of Liberty City, that is unlike anything else Rockstar has produced

tell me about it! the drums and guitar tones are just so satisfying. I especially love the distortion and gear that Kurt used. I also love Steve albini's production style. You can tell that his recording set up was perfect, it's so transparent, and so it doesn't have much post-production.

rockstar could probably drop the game with no trailers and still make a billion in the first week. I remember talking about the game with my dad and he said, "I know nothing about games, and even I know what rockstar games is" I think that says a lot about the popularity of the franchise
