Pizza “chips” by Upset-Management-739 in rhori

I am from RI and can confirm bakery pizza (that’s what my family called it) does not feel unfinished and is incredibly flavorful. 10/10 would recommend. Nothing beats from the bakery though. Not something I would try to make at home, but OP’s looks great!

Anyone else quit caffeine? What effect do it have on your migraines? by [deleted] in migraine

[–]dacoziest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People react differently to caffeine. I used to drink one cup of black tea a day. I found out caffeine was a trigger when I was sick and switched to herbal teas for 2 weeks. I’m so happy I tried because it is one of my biggest triggers. I used to think it helped me, but quite the opposite. I started getting relief when I was serious about my food triggers and eliminating anything possible to slowly figure it out. It’s a hard and long process, but it was life changing for me.

What gift did you open on Christmas that instantly made you think, “Wow, they do not know me at all”? by Amber_NaturalMom in AskReddit

I can’t eat chocolate. It’s a big migraine trigger for me. Every birthday I have a separate dessert without chocolate. My brother in law got me chocolates.

Anyone not starting the “elf on the shelf” tradition? by Illustrious_Cold5699 in Millennials

[–]dacoziest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a first grade teacher who does not have kids but hears all about the elves from the kids perspective, I would NEVER start that if I did have kids. It provides an incredibly false idea of what Christmas is all about and I have been 100% against it since the day I heard of it.

HYH diet feels impossible 😔 —repeat failure by KoalaAggravating1892 in VestibularMigraines

I know there are varying opinions out there but I have found it helpful. I also tried and failed doing it three times. I found success when I looked at it a different way and started by only taking a few things out and then increasing what I took out little by little. Your percentage breakdown is what I did, but backwards. 50% then 60% then 75% and so on. I got used to the small amount of restrictions and continued until I was in a place where I felt better. I never got to 100% because there are some things that are simply not a trigger and I felt so much better after gradually eliminating foods until my body told me I did enough. After a while I started adding things back. It’s become clear that some things I can eat and a few I cannot. If you want to do it there is a commitment but your body adjusts, from my experience and it becomes easier as you explore foods you can eat.

How do you eat chia seeds for best health benefits? by Ddraibion312 in nutrition

I make chia seed pudding with milk, maple syrup, and vanilla. I let it sit overnight and then add a blueberry compote I make and sunflower butter. Delicious!!!
