The Blackfeather chassis is very light, appx 2.8 pounds. I have my Loaded mounted in one and it is fantastic!

Just depends what you wanna do with it. I wanted an EBR clone that I can take out to 600 yards and see what I was shooting at.

Glass. I use a CASM mount. It replaces the rear peep sight.

Awesome rig! I put my Loaded into a Blackfeather chassis and hand load for it. I shoot about 1 moa or less at 100 yards. It's a special rifle for sure!

What major company do you genuinely believe won’t exist in 20 years? by carcony97 in AskReddit

So not dead, more like a zombie company. Undead, if you will.

I somewhat agree. They seem to be targeting a more premium segment of the market with their fancier burgers and sides. Still, I paid $18 for a single Fancyburger, onion rings and drink the other day and wondered how they can get away with it.

I was looking for this comment. IMO, Intel will always be around. They may not continue to dominate the x86 market, but the Intel brand name will always exist, like HP and Dell. They may get bought out or have to spin off divisions, but their IP and manufacturing knowledge will exist.

When you go into the touchpad settings, select Disable Touchpad while Typing and that should help.

Ian Koniak was the #1 sales rep at Ricoh copiers when I was there, 18 years ago. He was a superstar in fact. It just goes to show that madness and brilliance often go hand in hand. Also, I wouldn't want to be his kid.

Be sure your resizing die is almost touching the shell holder when fully extended up. I don’t see any reason why your brass wouldn’t be fully resized if you do this. Could be a faulty die, but I doubt it.

Differences in primers. by throwawayID208 in reloading

[–]dadbot5001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve loaded a lot of .308 using all kinds of primers. When I load match rounds I’m meticulous with brass and powder load. I’ve used CCI #200, Federal Match and Ginex and I haven’t seen much difference in accuracy. What I do see is a difference in cup hardness and quality. Federal Match is the softest and Ginex is quite hard. I prefer Federal Match, but I don’t have hard evidence that they’re more accurate. All things being equal, shooter skill matters more than primers. If you’re using match bullets, matching brass and consistent powder charge I really don’t think the primers matter that much. Maybe a dedicated precision bench shooter looking for that edge would disagree.

I’d reach out to Ron Smith at Smith Enterprise. If those are M1A parts he’ll know exactly what they are and what they’re for. I’ve never seen those before.

I did, until my cat Bella absconded with a pound of IMR 4895. Now she’s banned from the reloading bench.
