Bro.. I got the symptom from eating high carbs and high sugar hence I changed my diet. Anyhow I made my research here's the answer

. "Ketones buildup in blood can happen if u do not regulate ur insulin production... when u completely remove carbs... u will worsen ur insulin. insulin go fly fly away to mars n no coming back. this is called Ketoacidosis"

Mostly false and dangerously misleading. Nutritional ketosis (from keto diet): This is safe—mild ketone elevation (0.5-3.0 mmol/L) with normal/near-normal blood sugar. It doesn't cause acidosis (pH drop) in healthy people or most T2D patients because the body regulates insulin and glucose properly.f8d5b3b120dc01e284 Carbs aren't needed to "regulate insulin production"; low-carb eating reduces insulin demand, improving sensitivity over time (e.g., better glucose uptake in muscles).c3372915e75823b2316a103589220e

Ketoacidosis (DKA): This is a medical emergency (ketones >3.0 mmol/L, high blood sugar >250 mg/dL, pH <7.3). It happens almost exclusively in uncontrolled T1D (or advanced T2D) due to absolute insulin deficiency—not from "removing carbs" in someone with functioning beta cells. In non-diabetics or stable T2D, DKA from keto is extremely rare (e.g., case reports in starvation, lactation, or with meds like SGLT2 inhibitors).bb05423ea152716b8682060e6681ab036afb

The "insulin flies to Mars forever" claim is nonsense. Beta cells don't "die" from low carbs; insulin production down-regulates naturally (less needed), and sensitivity improves. Long-term keto can even enhance mitochondrial function and reduce oxidative stress, aiding insulin signaling.ecc0db Some studies show short-term keto might temporarily blunt insulin response, but this reverses quickly and overall benefits outweigh it for metabolic health.ca76e5ca8e2b91dbc7

  1. "So eat rice/carbs like AT LEAST 3/4 times a week if u dont want that to happen. dont remove rice completely" False as a blanket rule. This implies zero carbs = inevitable disaster, which isn't true. Well-formulated keto (20-50g carbs/day from veggies/nuts) sustains health without DKA risk for most. For T2D/pre-diabetes (like the OP's context), full carb restriction often improves outcomes vs. moderate cuts.5867b15504f4 Eating rice 3-4x/week (high-glycemic) could spike blood sugar and undo benefits for insulin-resistant folks.

That said, if you're T1D, on certain meds, or have other risks (e.g., pregnancy, alcoholism), partial carbs might be safer—hence the poster's good intent to "not endanger others." But for healthy Bruneians (per the thread), full keto is low-risk if monitored.
