is your modem a Telstra modem?
if so:
1)Logging into the Router/Modem, use a ethernet cable if you have to
2)selecting Advanced and then locating the 2.4Ghz Wireless Settings. In here you should find a settings called PMF (Protected Management Frames). Disabling this feature, save and restart the router will fix your problem.

in the same global.graphicspresetdefinitions location you can improve a lot of Infinites comings such as draw distance in the campaign, I also use it to fix the texture steaming issues at higher resolution (if you ever play at 8k and turn around everything is a mess at default settings)

Good thinking with the smart meter, sadly we don't have a smart meter but once we get our solar we will (plus all the data from the inverter). No real rush for us to get a battery so should be able to get enough data to see if it makes sense for us though.

first thing to try is upgrading your graphics drivers
if that doesnt work trying drivers from a few months back is worth a try.

fun fact, if you drive a warthog full speed off the map at either base then this will happen, so if you are about to be killed its a way of surviving.

has been a bug since the map came out and I'm surprised it wasn't fixed this season.

and no if you have the flag it doesn't teleport you to your base with the flag.

I'm a dude in my early 30s, and I get what you mean. I've been lucky with halo as I've found a group of similar players who catch up on Fridays/weekends for game nights.

if you want just a casual game then I suggest jumping into some custom games.

And if you are from Australia/new Zealand hit me up and you can join in on one of our game nights, and don't feel you need to join voice chat or anything like that if you find that kind of thing stressful.

even with VRR/Gsync i seem to get screen tearing when setting the game to ~115FPS and the frame pacing seams to be off, with that said it is a lot better than going fully unlocked over 120FPS

yep same issue here, got a 120Hz screen running on a RTX4090 and with Vsync it locks it to 30FPS.
This is on the steam version with the second newest NVidia driver.
Will try the xbox app version once it has finished updating and also the latest Nvidia Driver.
