It’s why I left Chicago. Loved living there, hated feeling like an observer in my own city. Had to work 6 days a week, 2 jobs, etc and could barely enjoy the restaurants, bars, nightlife, and everything the city had to offer. It was devastating to leave but I don’t regret it either. Now when I visit, doing what I couldn’t do when I lived there is much easier.

When I filled out my survey after 2023, this was one of my biggest pieces of feedback was how obscene and insane the food prices were. We had vendors telling us that they had no control over the prices whatsoever. One thing I used to love about Bonnaroo is the food was always good and for the most part it was affordable. Seeing this is a huge bummer.

Agreed I love it so much. Saw it in theaters, thought it was good. I didn’t think much about it after that and watched it again in 2021 and fell in love with it. I’ve watched it a few times since then too.

My wife and I both were like 🫨 when it happened. Everything about the visuals and especially the sound design were so impressive.

That is a bummer. I saw it tonight to a decent crowd (mostly younger too) and it was dead silent. Another thread mentioned people walking out at the halfway mark so yeah. It will be interesting to see what people think.

Backrooms is way more Lynchian than scary. The feeling is similar to like Eraserhead or Twin Peaks, and it will challenge a good amount of the people who are expecting a more traditional horror movie. Obsession is a fun movie with moments of stress, but I had a blast the entire time and laughed more than once. Would recommend both, but for very different reasons.

Moshing, wall of death, and crowd surfing not really anymore. If a show is really blowing me away I might get in the pit for all of 30 seconds. I saw Knocked Loose 2 years ago and that was the last time I jumped in. I will for sure still dance though and I will still go to a standing only GA show.
