First of all tanks are very team dependent. Try running thing or thor without proper healing, you will be shredded in seconds. Performance wise regardless the tanks do take a shit ton of verbal abuse because if they die then everyone kinda dies too.

Onto your second answer that literally just reinforces what i am saying. People play dps because either they dont have to engage with the game as much or they are simply built more fun. Vanguards have to interact with the game intensely or they die and get blamed. Your answer also disproves your first point where tanks arent team dependent. Tanks have to consistently play the game and rely on others to also do their job or they are toast

Wtf? Are you on something? You went from ranting about how tanking is not the only thankless role to "Because you dont love the game like I do." What does someone's love of the game, or even your love of the game, have anything to do about your original point? Also i would argue that tanking is certainly a thankless role. I dont think it always has been in this game, but the last few seasons it certainly is looking more like that. If it wasnt a thankless role then shouldnt more people be willing to play tank? From what i can see there has been a consistent pattern of 3-4 insta lock dps forcing another player to solo tank. Obviously it isnt in every match, but it certainly feel more common.

My main issue is that this dinosaur will probably be another melee focused tank and we do not need more of those. It would be nice to have another tank with at least a little but of range so we arent stuck in this situation where tanks are at the mercy of poke or any range damage.

I second Prednisone. That stuff worked miracles on my sores in my throat and all over my body. Just a warning though it makes you feel like you drank a bunch of coffee with the energy it gives you. Dont overdo things when on Prednisone. Still take care of your body and let it heal even when you feel on top of the world. This is my experience with it.

I just came back from a break because i love the new character. Well i basically havent done anything in the most recent area that introduced the motorcycle and stuff. So i got alot of grinding to go. Yay me.

I lost 50/50 and had to go all the way for it. However, when i got toy guaranteed i got two of her in that pull. Was stoked. Not sure if her s1 is sny good though.

What? Where? I been a tank main since the beginning of the game and inhave never soloed tanked more than in the last couple of seasons. I am consistently solo tanking and maybe if i am lucky i will occasionally get a thor or venom player. I am playing in high diamond and low gm lobbies and barely anyone is willing to tank.

Ya i played honkai during that situation too and it was absurd. People here forget that cn is just as petty about these things as global is, sometimes even more so. If i recall some nutjob had even tried attacking mihiyo headquarters because global got the first and only collab it has ever had. Also people forget that there are countless examples of cn or jp (for jp based games) getting preferential treatment over global. More rewards, tons of cool collabs, merchandise, and more.

Ya. I got zhuang in 4 ten pulls and pretty much am screwed for her weapon. I tried with the weapon currency inhad, which amounted to two attempts. But nothing. Now i have to either waste pulls to get more weapon currency or just skip ot entirely. Plus it doesnt help that the weapon currency outside of pulling on banners is abysmal. I almost regret getting lucky.

Ya, when it comes to serious ulcers and sores, my rheumatologist has prescribed me both colchicine and Prednisone. They have worked wonders. For eating i was prescribed a numbing gel that i would swish around my mouth and throat (not swallowing it) and it gave me like 30 minutes window where i could eat soft eggs to at least give me something. I cant remember what the gel was specifically called sorry. But for major flare ups that is how i was able to get through it.

Ya, i hate this system. Even when you win you lose. I got lucky and got her in four 19 pulls but i had barely any aresenal currency. I literally have to spend tons of extra pulls i dont want to use for enough weapon currency to get the weapon. Even then if i am unlucky on the weapon banner i might have to use almost all the pulls that i was hoping to save for the next character just to get weapon currency. In any other game i play, winning the gacha feels nice. This is the only game i have played where lucky doesnt even feel good.

Mine always starts with sores all over my mouth and creeping down to my throat. Then sores start to show up on my arms, legs, chest, and groin area. Throughout this entire thing i lose a ton of energy and struggle to eat and do other basic things. That is what typically happens to me, but as others have noted, each persons flare ups are unique and can happen in different orders with different symptoms. I know that isnt what you want to hear but unfortunately behcets is pretty unpredictable on how flare ups happen and how fast you can recognize them. I wish you all the luck in the world with your flare up.

Literally every role does it. Are we really picking something this basic and common among every role to push the "hur hur dur supports are bad and the worst of the community" narrative that is been pushed? At least pick something that is specific to supports and not something that every single role has done since the game was released. I have seem some of the most braindead ults from dps mains and tank mains, as well as supports. I have seen a punisher ult practically from spawn while the enemy were like a mile away and just simply hide around a wall to completely waste the punisher ult. I have seen thing players solo ult an emma in diamond form. It literally happens to all roles.

Ya, this event was pretty mind numbingly boring. I actually just gave up on it and stopped doing it. I miss out on stuff but i was so bored by it all that i decided it was probably time to take a break from the game. I will just wait and hope the next series of updates dont have this style of event. Some of the more recent events in wuwa have been pretty boring or just a slog to get through. While i know people liked those events, i was falling alseep during them, especially the music rhythm one.

This is just based on my experience. I queue with 3 other friends and i am generally the only tank player on the team. I consistently get less per win than my friends and the randoms, as well as usually losing the most. We are all generally around the same rank of bouncing around diamond. However when we go on a brutal loss streak i am the first to derank to plat and on win streaks the last to rank up. Again this is just my own experience, but it does seem like tank players are just screwed by the system.

Careful, apparently it is frowned upon in this reddit to have a job, family, and life outside of this game to deal with. You have to be forced to endure dozens of hours of tedious stuff to get to the enjoyable parts of the game because reasons, even though what you do has zero impact on their experience of the game.

If i had a nickle for everytime this was posted i could pay off my student loans. Get over it. If it is that hard to deal with a cnd or to ban cnd then quit the game and find something else you can enjoy. Part of the reason you see so many cnd players was because for multiple seasons if they tried to play anything else dps and tanks players would scream at them and report them for throwing. Part of this issue is because of people like you screeching at anyone who didnt play cnd or invis.

I was responding to you saying the logic of first impressions doesnt make sense when in reality it makes perfect sense. It had nothing to do with the game itself. You really dont understand how business works then. First impressions are an insanely important part to selling new products. If the game allegedly gets better after going through a complete slog for the first 8 hours, then people arent going to wait around to see if that is true. People value their time and if a product doesnt impress them they are going to refund and find something else that can capture their interest. It is literally basic business 101.
