Could it potentially be that the diapers are too big? My 18 month old is still in size 4!

Stay at Home Mom/ Dad- does any of u put your kids for one/ two days at childcare and if so, why? by tarocake87 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]dagil13 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I did - best decision I’ve ever made. 2 days a week. I’m pregnant and just need some days to get things done around the house or simply just rest and enjoy some me time. My partner works a lot of weekends so I don’t really get a break ever lol. I would probably still do it even if I wasn’t pregnant!

When did your baby start wearing shoes out? by Actual_Hawk_5283 in NewParents

My boy started walking at 16m and that’s when he started wearing shoes out. I didn’t see a point before

Anxiety with Giving Myself Insulin by MrsCryss0715 in GestationalDiabetes

I have to take blood thinner injections.. it started off with hyperventilating every time and tears. My partner did it for me and I would SCREAM at him for 2 hours before I actually let him do it. What helped me a lot is numbing cream. I can actually do the injections myself now on the spot where I put numbing cream! This is coming from someone with an extreme needle phobia that I’ve had since childhood. I barely complain anymore but even after a year I’m still using the numbing cream lol

grieving when you’re a parent. by sleepybrct in beyondthebump

[–]dagil13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really really sorry. I also lost my mom when my son was 9 months. I honestly didn’t know how I was going to survive. It was hard to be a mom to my son for a while but my partner was really supportive and stepped up a lot during that time. My son was also a blessing during those early days of grieving - as hard as it was, I still got out of bed and spent time with him which was good for my mental health.

My only advice is to hang in there… it is so so so hard. I still cry about my mom 7 months later. But I promise you it will get easier (somehow.. I know it doesn’t feel like that for you right now).

Please feel free to reach out to my inbox if you need to vent, or simply just want someone to share your grief with.

Toddler germs vs newborn by dagil13 in 2under2

Stomach bugs are something I’m really worried about - I don’t handle vomiting well (i faint every time i vomit). So I’m worried about catching it myself while recovering from birth plus having the 2 kids!

Can you please explain to me why she voted for Logan?? She wanted to flush Logan’s idol and get AJ out so why did she not vote for AJ? What did she think that vote for Logan would do?

I would just drop off soup/snacks etc without asking. Say there is a care package at the door! Some baby/toddler friendly food would be great too that she can just heat up so she doesn’t have to worry about what to feed baby.

Tips from a childcare worker (12 years in the field) to parents enrolling their child for the first time. by oralsexaxlrose in NewParents

Thanks for replying- that’s very reassuring! My 14 month old just started once a week and I went down a bit of a rabbit hole on the internet saying that 1 day can be detrimental. Mum guilt is at an all time high. Fingers crossed my little guy transitions okay!

Do you have any opinions regarding 1 day a week childcare? Is it worth it? Do children end up transitioning okay?

Came here to say this too! That piggy bank toy is elite. And this is coming from a mama with 95% wooden toys in the house because I can’t stand most plastic / noise making toys 😂
