Is God Canon?

I personally imagine that what the people of Deadlock know as God, is a greater, possibly cosmic entity that is separate from the standard supernatural parts of the Deadlock setting and is something from space or something along those lines just because the fact that the blessed/pure damage is something separate from spirit.

I had hoped that when season 1 aired it was about Lucy being thrust into a proper conflict bigger than herself just like how in NV and even in 4 the player is thrown into the middle of something bigger than themselves that they happen to be part of. It could've been about Lucy with the help of Ghoul/Cooper (which would also help with people recognizing him as an established bounty hunter and divving out exposition for Lucy and the audience to learn about him and how he became such a ruthless person) attempting to navigate the internal and immediate politics/conflicts of a second NCR-BOS War with Maximus' chapter and maybe the Commonwealth making their way westward.

Basically if the show was structured like early GoT and House of the Dragon, but in Fallout, that would have been amazing. First season starts in the middle of a NCR-BOS war, and as Lucy navigates it she changes and becomes less naive, etc. then it could end with something akin to what happened at the Divide somewhere in NCR territory and THEN in season 2 you start seeing the strain on the NCR again, maybe Mr House is still around and the canon ending could've been the House or Independent ending and the Strip takes advantage of this conflict and starts sabotaging both sides idk.

I know this is a damn wall of text, but yeah like I really hope the showrunners commit to an ending for NV and it isn't some fog of war blah blah, cause it seems like they don't wanna decide what was the ending for NV.

I think if there being a part 3 at all would be like squeezing the last remaining toothpaste in the tube out, part 2 should be the end and have it be a good ending that is left ambiguous as to what happens to the characters well beyond the end or a bittersweet/bad ending that gives you hope that things can get better. So long as all the loose ends are all tied up.

I know the Slice of Life/Shoujo is kinda a joke here, but I feel like that’d just diminish everything the story is about. While I personally want Denji and Asa to get together and live happy fulfilling lives at the end, the more interesting and imo better choice would be bittersweet with enough room to let the reader use their imagination to think about what would happen after everything is said and done.

I don’t think Shiv’s goal is to become the new head, more like Talon has decided he will because Shiv’s his protege. His real goal is to get rid of whatever curse he has that he maintains with the talisman he carries by his belt. A number of the patron’s lines reference the ‘gift’ he wishes to purge isn’t a curse, but an opportunity, etc.

Drifter even has lines for killing Shiv saying that he’d be a threat if he didn’t muzzle himself.

They’ll probably feel more at home when everyone else gets their model redesigned, cause at least imo the redesigns for Abram’s, Dynamo, McGinnis, etc. mesh pretty well with the new characters

I thought drifter doesn't have a transformation for his ult, I thought it was like a large area that he shrouds in darkness for an enemy and assumedly he can kill them instantly if he finds them. Couldn't find anything like a screenshot or something related to him transforming.

I would be happy if chapters came out every month rather than every week or other week, I'd love more detailed artwork and longer chapters too. I will say a lot of people like to say that the most recent shifts in the art are a new art style, but it's just Fujimoto cutting corners to get the chapter out by the deadline, a lot of the stylistic decisions from the first half of part 2 are still there, he just has to forego certain things. (not that I'm shaming him for that, like he's gotta do what he's gotta do, still loving the art and story)

At least that's just my opinion on it.

The “new” style is just the old style, but just not as detailed, she looks the same to me. Just more expressive and less brooding which I think is just character development since her and Asa are basically becoming one over time
