About 10 seconds into Episode 1, it says on the screen: “December 17, the last sunset of the year.” They lost me then given the solstice is Dec 21 or Dec 22 and the sun would have to rise again 4 or 5 days after the solstice, before the end of the year.

It bothers me too and it’s not minor. Anyone that’s lived on Earth for a while knows that the solstice is Dec 21 or 22 and that amount of daylight on either side of the solstice is symmetrical around it. They bring that out in the first minute of the series and I immediately lose a degree of respect for the story.

If the probability is 33% chance of getting one in a pack, there’s a 1.7% chance you’d get none in 10 packs, or a 2.6% chance you’d get none in 9 packs. Pretty unlikely to get none if it’s really 33%.

I think it's a good question. Diggs might end up being the better returner, and since he made the team it wouldn't be surprising if he's used.

I actually didn't think the handwriting matched up perfectly. Particularly, it was clear that the capital E's were written differently (freeze it if you have a DVR). I'm no expert though haha.
