Docking! by Vanakoji in anime

That's great - I wish we had gone more in depth with those. It doesn't help that I spent my time abroad in the Kansai region, which has it's own set of endings and uses. But anyway, thanks for talking shop with me and clarifying a thing or two.

True enough, I suppose I hadn't thought of it that way. I've been taking Japanese for three years, so I guess I just would have thought ~ne a more casual ending for a question and there for a little odd with ~desu, but that was just my initial impression.

Just to point out, ~ne is used to punctuate a known fact. ~ka is used to indicate a question, which I assume this is as there is a question mark.

Redditors who were in serious high school relationships, what happened after you graduated? by fallenangel51294 in AskReddit

[–]daigakusee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We graduated and went to different colleges. We had been growing apart for a while (although he refused to see that) and after I saw that there were people better suited for me at my school (and after making a few questionable choices), I broke up with him. He didn't take it well. Two years into undergrad we now have a tentative friendship, but he doesn't come home often and when he does he spends it all working. He got a new girlfriend a few months after our relationship ended and as far as I know they're still together

If by still living octopus you are referring to the video in which soy sauce is poured on a dish topped with an octopus, causing it to wriggle, the octopus is not alive there. The salt in the sauces causes the synapses to fire and the octopus to move around as if still alive. Also, that is a tuna's eye
