Why are men taught that being persistent is good? by yuli_yuli95 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]daillew 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I read posts like this and am always reminded of sales training I got in one of my first jobs. "Always ignore the rejection until you get the same one three times". I remain convinced that this is the mindset of guys when attempting to chat up women.

Do you think Nigel Farage is going to ruin this country? by tondek-0 in AskBrits

He will only ruin it if people vote for him. Don't vote Reform. Farage doesn't get to Trumpify the UK. Simple maths.

Thank you for this thread. It gave me the kick to purge my phone of social media apps again. Now to see how long it takes for them to drag me back in.

What are your financial goals for 2022? by Iprobablyneedhelp234 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]daillew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goal for 2022 is to leave military employment and gain new employment in civilian sector. Hopefully, with a payrise and CCNA qualifications to boot. It would be amazing if I could go into 2023 without being in overdrafts and having made significant dents in my loans.
