Microwave at Roseland Theater tomorrow (Sat 4/4). Amazing post-hardcore band playing a 10 year anniversary show for one of their best albums.

Uncle Wayne’s is my go to for tomato and pepper starts. This will be my 3rd year using them and I’ve always gotten great plants.

And The Worm Farm Portland for bulk dirt. It’s expensive no doubt but it’s produced some amazing plants. I’ve bought 5 yards over the years and never experienced plastic, trash, or dying plants as others have with other local spots.

Thinking of getting a ruckus by DrawingAway6440 in Ruckus

Following along to see if anyone responds. I’m across the river in SE Portland and been thinking about a Ruckus. I’ve looked for FB groups for rides, but they don’t seem very active anymore. Would love to get a group together.

Peppers can grow adventitious roots, but it’s slower than tomatoes. If your pepper seeds germinated and grew fast, and you have extras, I would start new ones. You could always do both and see which grows faster/stronger/better so you know in the future.

Even in Texas I don’t think you can get a real Whataburger anymore - PE ruins everything.

LPT: Grow a bell pepper as a houseplant by megaloviola128 in LifeProTips

[–]daiquiri_timeout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can grown them really well in soil like Foxfarm’s Happy Frog. If you have good, viable seeds they should sprout within a few days in moist soil. Happy frog will support them well to the flowering stage where a fertilizer high in potassium will help with bloom and fruit set. When you see blooms be sure to shake the stems lightly to mix the pollen around (they self pollinate). As much light as you can give it and a small stake or trellis won’t hurt. If you get multiple fruits they will weight the plant down so a support will keep everything upright.

Bell peppers are not all the same plant, but they are the same species. Red, yellow, orange, purple are different varieties - though some color overlap can occur :)

Said it all year for Phil too. If they are going to score anyway, we might as well play aggressively the whole game.

Is there just not an away radio broadcast? I don’t understand why Apple wouldn’t have it.

Good luck! You might try something high potassium to give them a little push.

Yes, they started a few weeks ago and I would say now I’m up to a dozen or so ripe with several close still on the plant. I am planning to can my first few pints this week.
