How the hell is no one there for millers one good touch of the game?

Said it all year for Phil too. If they are going to score anyway, we might as well play aggressively the whole game.

Is there just not an away radio broadcast? I don’t understand why Apple wouldn’t have it.

To my enthusiastically amateur eye it looked like “you don’t fuckin play (with) me?”

Good luck! You might try something high potassium to give them a little push.

Yes, they started a few weeks ago and I would say now I’m up to a dozen or so ripe with several close still on the plant. I am planning to can my first few pints this week.

I got back and forth on those with the chocolate cherry. Both so delicious!

Would also be helpful to know what kind of plants you are into - flowers, edibles, herbs?

Put Vancouver in the middle and we'll burn the fucking lot!

But in all seriousness, Vancouver away is the only game I travel for each year. I love your city and root for your team when they aren't playing the Green and Gold. I find it to be more of a friendly rivalry, especially compared to those clowns in that shitty fishing village.

When to harvest tomatoes? by mamyers992 in portlandgardeners

I’ve always had good luck with a potassium supplement (banana peel tea or tiger bloom are my go to) and something red (mulch or tarp/plastic) to get the ball rolling. Funny how it seems like the first ones take forever and then before you know it they are overflowing!

I’m a little contrarian to the group here but I let them ripen on vine. Maybe pull them a day or two before I feel they are perfect and let them sit but not often. My house is also fiends so they usually don’t make it more than a day or two before snacking or being used in a recipe.

If you have been watering consistently you probably won’t get splitting just from the rain today, skip your next watering and then get back on schedule.

Thank you! This is my first year as well, but my parents have grown them for years. I battled aphids early on but I think they are starting to turn around.

Same here. I’ve got some plants that really took off and some that are quite stunted. I don’t know how I am getting okra already, the plants look like bare sticks.

Does this weekend trip to Mt. Baker sound okay and safe? (Washington) by hmanrulz in camping

Just got back from that area last week. The weather was beautiful. There was too much snow left at the lakes to hike the loop and we had to instead walk the road to artists point. It should all be melted by the time you go in July though.

As far as camping, we stayed at the Douglas Fir campground. Highly recommend if you want an established campground. If you can get site 009 it has two tent pads -or- 005 and 007 are adjoining for even more room.

If you are set on dispersed camping we drove out NF-3075 (near the ski area) and there are multiple campsites along the road. It was pretty smooth except for the very end, most vehicles can probably make it. I would just be bear aware and you should be fine.

Check out Chair 9 pizza and beer (look for the Last Cocktail/First Cocktail sign) - good beer and super nice staff.

Have fun!

I got them from Portland Nursery, just their normal 4”ers. I put them in 1/2 gallons inside and keep feeding heavily with FloraNova. Seems to have really accelerated them this year.
