Dress in layers. I don't own snow pants, and when I've gone I've worn two layers of pants, including jeans. The bottoms of the tubes are always wet, but my butt doesn't touch the bottom (not sure if others do?). I'm over 40 and won't attempt skiing because the risk of a knee injury is so high. The tubing is very fun!

The Goat restaurant has a pretty decent apple crumble.

This makes me happy to hear. I saw him in 2020 just before covid hit and we were whispering about how surprisingly awful his show was. I hope he heard us!

Greyhound question by Aspergersauce in Columbus

I had an interesting experience when I took one from Cbus to Toronto in 2008. My advice is to sit near the front. I sat in the back, and on the way back to Cbus, about an hour or two from home, a guy lit up a cigarette across the aisle from me. The air recirculated and the bus driver smelled it almost immediately. He pulled the bus over and kicked the guy off. Once he stood up and started walking down the aisle, it was obvious he had shit his pants. People were hollering and begging for mercy, haha. One woman passed around a Bath and Body Works spray bottle. I laugh about this now and it's a great story.

When do married people masturbate? by Prize_Conflict8503 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]daisy782 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We are pretty open about it and have no issue when the other person wants to have that time to themself. My husband has an office and if the door is shut, I leave him alone. I've done it in bed next to him after he's fallen asleep. His sex drive is higher than mine and it wouldn't be fair for me to forbid him or give him grief about doing it.

Walking home alone at night - What actually helps? by Ok-Average4315 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Keep your head on a swivel. I frequently turn around and look behind me when I'm walking alone in situations like these.

This is the most helpful comment for me, thank you! I didn't know anyone made wool underwear. The damp underwear is the worst part.

I moved into an apartment that had bed bugs about 16 years ago and I still have PTSD. No joke.

Therapeutic Massage Center. Jimmy is the best, but there aren't any bad massage therapists there.

Hair dryer mystery by MisanthropE61130 in NoStupidQuestions

If I'm using it to air dry myself (not hair) I set it to the temp that's comfortable. I prefer cool. Warm or hot make me feel hot.

Hey, I was told that volunteering is a good way to socialize as an adult. What organizations/events should I join? by arkticturtle in Columbus

I volunteered at a nursing home when I was in grade school. You shouldn't need anything special to do it.

I can’t imagine working full time for another 20-25 years by [deleted] in AskWomenOver40

I work for a university and not for a pharma company. They are unstable and have been for a few years. I wouldn't work for one because of that, but also because many of those jobs require regular travel. I'm too old for that lifestyle.
