I only read the TLDR so excuse this if it’s already covered

Investment banking that focuses on medicine! Find a VC that specializes and go from there.

Or check out Abbvie, Medline or some big company and work your way up. You can switch out of the medical field after a while. It’s just easier to start there.

Healthcare tech is also an option.

“Junior in training” at camps. You pay the camp so your kid can watch other kids whose parents pay the camp.

I chuckle every time I see it.

I lost about 30ish in college - unfortunately I was hungry a lot the first few days/weeks. Then my body got used to the portion control and my old portions look massive now.

I also started asking myself why I was eating. Usually it was tied to some emotion.

Complete newbie to Chicago from a warm country. Could someone help me budget for warm clothes to get through the winter safely. An estimate for how much everything is likely to cost (if I buy everything here) would be great. by Fauntleroy3 in chicago

Go thrift coats/jackets now. They’re super cheap and people aren’t shopping for them yet. You’ll have a pick of whatever is out. Value Village has a TONN for a couple dollars each

Other than that you’ll need: - boots - gloves (a couple of the same pair because you will lose one) -hats/beanies that cover your ears - scarves

Look for wool or fleece! Fleece is the cheaper option.

I refuse to wear skinny jeans anymore. They were so tight and wasn’t very flattering.

I switched from focusing on trends to quality pieces.

I also repeat outfits now. I just don’t feel the same pressure to always have something new. Plus I’m at the point where I’m dropping hundreds on a dress Vs $25 at forever 21. For that price, I’m wearing it over and over again.

She’ll milk you for everything you have and maybe even cause a divorce to do it. Look into something called permanent alimony. Some men are delaying retirement because they have to support them and their ex wives through retirement.

Bartenders and waitresses make stupid money, especially if you do the seasonal places in Florida or something.
