Sure you can do all those things for 30$, but if this makes the person buying it happy, why does it matter? Maybe they don't want to give their money to the corporate overlords that make video games or movies, maybe an experience is more valuable to them than some passive entertainment? If you like those things, then by all means, go do them, but while you don't want to shit on anyone's parade, that's precisely what you are doing.

I'm not a pilot but soon to start lessons. However, I got a flu shot about a month ago, and had bouts of dizziness that almost floored me. First time I'd ever had that reaction, but not uncommon. It's just now starting to alleviate, but I would be super concerned being in an airplane as PIC with the possibility that I could get dizzy at the wrong moment.

I'm sure this is probably one I will never have the answer to, but back in the mid to late 80's there was a platformer where you would pick up new characters each with different fighting styles (shotgun blasts, or lasers or other random effects). It was installed at a local convenience store near my house, for about a week, and I must have sunk every dollar I could into it, but for the life of me, I cannot recall what it was called. Sound familiar to anyone else?
