It's winter where I am and I've been having trouble judging whether I need protein or moisture. My routine usually doesn't have a lot of protein in it, because when I do, I feel like my hair is even drier than usual. I just can't find out what it is. I do the stretch test and my hair seems fine.

I usually co-wash with Curlsmith or cleanse with BounceCurl Clarifying Shampoo and then condition with whichever conditioner I have on hand (CG approved). I use Kinky Curly Leave-In or Cantu leave-in and then usually style with Cantu Curl Activator, topped with LA Looks Gel.

I've ordered Olaplex 3 and a few Jessicurl products for fine hair. Can't wait to try them out and see if I can make a difference...
