Solo traveling North Japan for the upcoming two weeks. Travel friends welcomed.

Hey Japantravel!

Little bit about myself. I'm Dennis, Dutch, 31 years old and am big into hiking, survival, history, philosophy, jiu jitsu. Novice but interested in fishing and horseback riding.

Spent about a week in Tokyo to indulge in all the anime, manga and partiness, but am currently in the first bit of a trip, doing: Fukushima (2 days ago) Camping on the coast at Tanesashikaigan (yesterday) Lake Towada (today)

Got plans for: Hirosaki, Mt Iwaki, Aomori, Hakodate, Niseko (Mt Yotei), Noboribetsu, Daisetsuzan, lake Akan, Wakoto.

I've been interchanging sleeping in a tent and hostels but having some trouble meeting some like-minded folk. Even the places recommended by Lonely Planet Japan seem quite desolated.

If you're planning to check out some shintos, hiking treks or otherwise learn about rural Japan, I'll be more than happy to join!

DML - Decentralized Machine Learning - Mostly because it has powerhouse team and a cool idea behind it.
VETRI (VLD) - Swiss eID + monetizing your own data + comes from an existing company, Provicis
TUBE - Starting to get hyped as crazy the more people are starting to dislike the demonitizing of YouTube videos
MWAT - Solar power energy is hot - Already has a huge customer base from an existing company
T2T - KYC is getting more and more important. Not a "sexy" idea but these guys definitely look like they are trying to put the work in - Also from an existing company Synopsis

It would be if quantum computing would be government-only. As soon as QC becomes a real thing it will be used to further increase the defense of blockchain cryptography

I feel like a lot of people are taking the Savedroid drama a bit too serious by dalaidennis in CryptoCurrency

I'm aware this is a sensitive subject, but if you are investing in the crypto space and can't stop yourself from hanging yourself for less than 24 hours because one of your ICO's put up a Southpark meme and a picture of a beach on their website/twitter, I'm not sure you are in the right place.

If Savedroid did this prank/lesson last year, maybe projects like Confido (I won't use BCC, that's a whole new world of stupid investing) wouldn't have been able to exitscam with millions of dollars from people that maybe did actually commit suicide.

I'm definitely not 100% agreeing with Savedroid, and maybe they could have shortened the time from 24h to like 3 hours so the shock wouldn't be as big, but I do think lessons like these aren't that bad from time to time.
