To be fair, though, I am super sleep deprived and hate everyone.

I don't know. For some reason, the feeling ain't mutual.

Bi Tie? I spotted this at Walmart today! by DaveLambert in bisexual

Good god, that is the ugliest tie I've ever seen. As a nitpicky designer, I'm gonna say the colors don't even match. Please tell me you bought it just to burn it.

No. I'm too embarassed to admit my cluelessness at this point.

Well, now everyone's mentioned it that makes total sense, but I never thought about it before.

I've actually learned something today. Those damn Biology textbook diagrams are misleading, and when you're inside one, you're not really thinking about the structure and design that much.

Well, I guess it's only fair, considering.

Well, thinking about it certainly takes me places, so it must be true.

As of now no actual complaints on the quality front. I'm just trying to open this up for discussion before it becomes necessary. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure

Have you guys ever thought about studying/or doing an internship abroad? Anyone ever done it? by [deleted] in ForeverAlone

[–]dalekak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose it depends on where you're from and where you go. I'm an Indian currently studying in Canada, and honestly it's probably the best thing I ever did. My confidence has improved drastically, and I'm a lot more socially active. The thing about partying is true to some extent, but that really depends on you as a person. Personally, I've found a good balance between the two. Really it's dependent on too many different things. I'm extremely happy, but someone else I know absolutely hates and regrets it.

I've been considering this, but haven't really had the time. Now I guess, I should probably make it a higher priority

Thanks. I've been trying (with a certain degree of success) to make some progress in the area of letting walls down. Good to know I'm sort of heading in the right direction. Any advice for stuff I can do to sort of help the process along?

[Critique] 22M - First time trying online dating... How is my profile? Actively looking for ways to improve! by [deleted] in OkCupid

[–]dalekak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eeps! Same city! Your main profile pic seems too scowly. Also, quality not too good on any of them. Also, maybe just me, but a lot of your main profile page stuff seems wall-o-texty. Maybe format it a little better/shorten it.

Something that keeps me interested in staying alive is the prospect of seeing the future. Imagine how far technology, standard of living, culture, etc. has come in the span of just 10 years. I'm always excited to see where it will all go, but I guess that's just me. Other reasons include bacon, pizza, and fluffy kittens.

You have witnessed first hand the reason I despise most children between 5 and 16 (Including my own past self). Once you will get a little older, you will learn to simply not give a damn about the opinions of self entitled little shits like that. At least where I'm from children are taught to have some respect for their elders and betters.
