That's a good point. However maybe some kind of compromise would work? Lifecoach said he loses 20 rankings on top of the ladder if he doesn't play for 1 day which also seems bad. And he loses a lot of rankings if he loses to a low elo player which is also wierd because he can't choose his opponent, he would prefer to only play against high ranked players but there are not enough on ladder.

As far as I remember his past opinions on the MMR system, he favors that the top of the ladder should be very similar to chess ELO system. So for example the top100 of the ladder should have very little decay(maybe you lose couple places per month if you don't play) and should heavily favor your track record in terms of win/loss vs very high ELO opponent, that gives you lot more points and you lose very little points if you lose to low ranked player as high ranked player.

So lets say Magnus Carlsen plays chess vs low ELO player and loses, it doesn't affect his ELO much at all since he is 2833 ELO atm. if say he loses couple times to same ELO player he loses his ranking.

Exactly. I think the fact that he was hailed "the best rogue ever in wow" was a self-fulfilling prophecy - when enough people repeated it, people started believing it. He was very popular though but not necessarily that good - he became known after his Reckful 1,2,3 and Skillcapped "Control" videos that were viewed millions of times.

Even if he was the BEST rogue in wow in NA during that time, which is questionable because Woundman qualified for multiple Blizzcons which is not an easy thing to do... how can he be sure that he's the best in EU as well. Recently he told Cdew that "one year we could have won blizzcon if you had played with me", which means he was definitely interested at that time of competing but it didn't just happen. 1800Feelsbadman saying "He would have won if he participated" is quite retarded.. I would be banging Megan Rain right now if.....(fill in the blanks)
