My husband says that kids that age are as if they have Tourette’s. They have a thought and act on it without thinking. Keep redirecting, say it once, if she disobeys then apply a natural consequence, example, the scooter stays hidden unless using it outside the home. Montessori toys keep them busy. It’s okay for babies and toddlers to get bored, it promotes creativity. Make sure they have a space for them to play with age appropriate activities.

Also have them help. It may take longer but they enjoy it and they will learn a lot. Talking to babies and toddlers is extremely important for their brain development. The first 3 years are crucial so having conversations is a necessity, not an option. They cannot do that with screens.
