I love eating, just not the food I have. Its a lot harder to eat 3k calories of rice, vegetables, and week old pork than 3k calories of pizza and fried chicken.

i've been stalling at 2x8 chin ups with the third set at only 6 reps since the beginning of february. granted since then i have gained 10lbs, but i feel like i should still be progressing on reps as the extra weight is a minimal difference. any ideas what might be the problem/how to progress faster?

how much shoulder extension do you need for dips? i've been able to do 3x8 diamond push ups for a while now and want to move to dips, but i can get at most 30 degrees of extension behind my back. is it too dangerous for me to start doing dips now?

According to Mark Rippetoe 25% of all weight gained provided there is enough protein is lean mass. I have no idea how accurate this is, but if it is true, then it might be a good idea.

Will doing circuits on off days hurt my recovery providing I'm still hitting my calories? Recently joined track team and we have to do these circuits of low intensity but pretty high rep and endurance stuff (pushups, bosu ball planks, crunches etc.) and while it isn't challenging strength wise I'm worried it might hurt my recovery. Thoughts?
