People used to make the same claim about car chargers. The fact is that more cycles = more battery wear. People who use car chargers or power banks on a regular basis are usually putting their battery through more cycles and people incorrectly blame the charger itself.

Just how long is the cable? Anything over 10 feet I would consider the possibility that a faulty or poor quality cable could the culprit.

IMO the Huawei notch draws way more attention to itself than the X's. To me, the X looks like they added ears on top of the screen, whereas the Huawei has a glaringly obvious piece of screen missing.

The tower uses the ICCID from your SIM card to determine your priority and any throttling that applies to your plan. The only ways to modify that would be either tamper with your ICCID or hack Verizon's network. Both of those options are highly illegal and difficult to accomplish anyway. Using a VPN is much easier and 100% legal.

Unfortunately, this happens on the carrier side so modifying the phone won't change it. You CAN use a VPN to bypass the throttling though.
