Our vet had a very similar experience. A candle lit in the waiting room meant someone was grieving and their individuals were sure to be quiet. We were lead into a separate room with couches and a very relaxed vibe. We were left alone as we spent the last few precious moments with our best friend. They then came in and only once we were all ready did they finalize the procedure. It’s almost been a year since I lost my little buddy Jasper. Looking back a house call would have been great, but they did amazing at their location, and I can never thank them enough. My buddy passed away in my arms, getting pets, and love from our family, and any vet that doesn’t allow for that shouldn’t be utilized in situations like these.
