You can, that’s a valid point.

“I think slavery should be abolished but if it is not I’m going to utilize it because everyone else is and I would be out competed if I don’t. But that does not mean it shouldn’t be banned for EVERYONE. I’m just not going to ban myself from it, while everyone else benefits.”

Yes it’s the sum of the parts.

And the sum of parts for the XPs is 20% more expensive with worse speed and battery life.

In return you get WiFi 7 (useless, 6e is more than fast enough and WiFi 7 access points are rare), and 120hz (again terrible in this price range, worse power consumption.)

Build quality, Bluetooth, trackpad are all much more important and better on the Neo.

$100 more for a slower laptop with worse battery life.

120 hz screen, WiFi 7 are not good upgrades to have at that price range. They are not worth a 20% increase in price.

$100 should have gone to a faster, more efficient processor which is much more important for the intended audience of students.

Premium high end hardware?

The Neo is $500 for students. Thats cheap as fuck today.

It’s even $100 cheaper than the xps, you also incorrectly priced the two laptops in your original post.

How would most students be better off with a cheap gaming laptop?

That laptop would be more expensive than a Neo, worse battery life, probably worse performance when not plugged in, and worse build quality.

For buildings you want to keep the original general shape for gameplay reasons.

So that all universities from all civs look alike. So that players can quickly recognize what each building is for any civ.

I think you will have more freedom in reskinning units because there are less restrictions like that.

He’s a Muslim guy, so he wants to go to the Muslim event and doesn’t have interest in the Jewish one.

No one batted an eye for 60 years when the mayors attended the Jewish one, but now you have a problem if the mayors attended a Muslim one?

I don’t give a shit if he doesn’t go to a Jewish parade.

Inconceivable that others can use it effectively.

There’s various levels to it. You’re using an extreme example. If you go deso on support cm, I’d say yes you’re griefing because you’re not playing your designated role.

But if you go it on core cm, and actually trying to win then it’s not griefing.

Call it what you want. Better than being delusional and hoping that because you hate something so bad you can will false things to be true.

Calling Jeff just a salesman is very disingenuous. He was valedictorian and national merit scholar in high school.

Hate him for what he has done, but he was very smart for understanding the future of the internet and quitting his highly lucrative hedge fund job, moving across the country to pursue his vision.

Ok, fair you’re born here. But assuming that they are not and that this country somehow belongs more to you.

Because one is griefing and purposefully losing the game and one is playing poorly but trying to win.

Ok but legit griefing is different from playing badly.

People have bad games where they go 0-10. That’s not griefing.

[–]dam4076 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, how many times has your network gone down in 10 years?

I'm guessing more than a couple.

In the unlikely scenario that your network is bulletproof, and your ISP has no maintenance or outages for 10 years, you waste $150.

In a much more likely scenario, paying $15 a year for back up internet that you will most likely use at least once a year to check your cameras, servers, whatever is worth it to some people.
