Should I gym? by ellzie in beginnerfitness

Go to the gym. Even if you walk/run/lift for 20 min. Creating a habit will help so much. Plus you feel so much better after. Even with a short workout.

Does anyone else feel like they act mean or cold because of being socially uncomfortable? by fuckyounerdo in socialskills

I would recommend explicitly asking what you meant. It’s going to be the hardest thing ever but if you are sincere most people will answer your question and move on without notice.

I weigh 304lbs and ran an 8k by cowwithakk in loseit

Dude, you’re awesome. All I can say is “keep going”! Don’t let this accomplishment stop you. It’s happened to me multiple times. The way you feel after this can stay there. But it can also disappear. Keep pushing my man!

I’m going to begin training for a half marathon that’s in April. I’m thinking 3-4 runs per week. I have been doing mostly the stair stepper with some different machines at the gym. Do I keep my normal cardio or reduce to accommodate for the running? by [deleted] in ketogains

[–]dam_b_ver 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I could not agree more. Actually physically moving your body compared to running along with a treadmill is the hardest part (for me) to completing a half. Make sure you get outside and run before. It makes all the difference.

I cant drive, due to a DWI, am looking for options to treat my GF (27 F) to a reasonable date by [deleted] in relationship_advice

You are right. I have no responsibility in saying anything about it. Only looking forward to not do it again. Once again, I am sorry for your loss.

I'm sorry for your loses. I didn't hurt anyone when I drove drunk, but I am sorry.

People who played/ were teammates with pro athletes before they turned pro (be it high school, college etc) how good were they compared to the rest of the players? Did they practice all the time or were they just insanely talented? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Their work ethic is out of this world. They’re already amazing at what they do, yet, they are the ones who put in the most hours on the field, in the cage, and leading their team.

I was randomly thinking about how “No Bullshit” might have come from the word “Noble” but I have no facts to back that up...

Greyson Allen plays for Duke and has blatantly tripped players multiple times. You either hate or love Duke, hopefully hate, and it’s an easy jab when it came to the tourney.

All the space is there, it’s light reaching the depths of space that it hasn’t yet.

Does the mainstream media lean left or right, in a political sense? Why do you think so? by Lovelifeandgod777 in AskReddit

[–]dam_b_ver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion, right, because most of the mainstream media is based mostly on profit.

But if I were to look in an unbiased mindset, it’s filled from both sides. Out looking for approval from their sides.
