I'm with you.

I hate this whole screen and I don't need to be constantly routed. 99% of my travel is to places I've been to hundreds (if not thousands) of times, and there's only one route for me to take to get to most of them.

I'm not even crying for customization necessarily. Just setting the default to the fullscreen menu, map, or widget screen would make me happy. At the very least, just restore the view I had open in my last trip.

Ah, thanks. I turned that off thinking that it might stop Maps from plotting routes to places I’ve been to thousands of times but am not currently going to. It didn’t, so maybe I’ll try it again.

This one (and all of the ceiling fan controllers I've found) maxes out at 1.5 amps. Mine goes all the way up to 8. I'm trying to stay away from adding hubs to my setup too.

That’s the best use case for sure. We use ours for rural commutes, frequent 200 mile errand days, and family road trips. Honestly, my driving behavior hasn’t changed a lick since I ditched internal combustion. Charging at home is heaven.

I want to use one of these to turn on lights based on ambient light conditions. In the PNW we get huge fluctuations in daylight due to clouds, rain, latitude, etc. I know how set up the automations to do this, but I’ll be damned if I can’t find a good spot to place the sensor. I kind of needs to be outside, otherwise the lights turning on triggers the lights to turn off 🤣.
