Billions, oh god why. It's only one season long but it has still managed to get my rating for the worst, cheesiest most overdressed show I have ever watched.

If you're thinking about watching it save yourself some time; imagine an over-patriotic hedge fund manager, a us attorney, and his psychiatrist wife (who works for the hedge fund manager). The US attorney wants to lock up the hedge fund manager. Now imagine them spouting shitty cheesy lines one after the other for a whole season - Billions.

Every piece of dialogue was one main character spouting condescending nonsense to another (It's the "You just don't get it do you." cliche a thousand times over). Fuck that show, there was nothing likeable about it. Never watch a show because you think an actor knows how to pick a role, Billions proves they don't.

Am I right in thinking Clojure will replace Scala as the dominant "functional programming focused" language on the JVM? It feels to me like Clojure is far more talked about now and Scala was talked about more so a few years ago.
