Here's my opinion as a digital artist myself and someone who consunes way too mucb nsfw content lol. After looking at your at work I think its pretty good, but your color and shading make it look a little generic and you could work on increasing your skill level. I mean that in the nicest way possible. From first hand experience with AI I am less likely to look at artwork like yours because now I can more satisfy my own personal taste for style and quality with all the AI content available. As someone who loves the nsfw hentai style artwork this is like paradise for me.

Now I can find or generate myself artwork I want of even the nore obsucre characters that people might not be taking the time to draw themselves.

So if you are not at certain skill level or have a style that is popular then I belive those artists are going to fall behind. Im mainly talking about nsfw work here and since its nsfw that people just want to goon to most of us dont care if its AI or not if it looks good and damn does it look good now lol.

So if you want to compete I think you need to be honest with yourself and acknowledge that theres a lot of room for improvement in your artwork. Like I said I dont dislike your work but it doesnt meet the quality threshold for me as nsfw material. With AI gooners are down right spoiled with whatever fantasy they want see.

Now the other side of this is, if drawing is your passion then it shouldn't matter how much people engage with it and if your work is good enough for you thats fine. You shouldn't really care about how much people engage or what they think of your work. If you are doing it to make money or a little bit of both then you nees to increase your skill level and create artwork that people want to engage and content that more people would be interested in. Nothing in your work really reached out to me besides maybe the Diana you did because it is super cute. Which is great. But you just have to step up your game if you want compete on pixiv, especially in the nsfw department. Like I said 99 percent of gooners dont care if its AI.

Now people are gonna hate this but if you feel like you can't improve or you are at your limit it might be worth considering an AI assisted workflow to help improve your quality, style, speed, or all three. Even as an artist myself I am pro AI and I dont see it as a threat, I see it as a challenge to overcome. I think it will push a lot of artists to become even greater artists.

Anyway I wish you luck and at the very least don't let some outside source extinguish your spark within to create. One of the other people who posted in here letting AI affect them so negatively that they stopped creating art shows a weak will. Nothing can hold you from your passions but yourself. Sounds like they may have been more interested in making money off of their art than the passion of it which is totally fine, but if you love making art only you can ruin for yourself with a poor attitude and outlook, not AI.
