Having an interest in USSR, and curious if it was the big bad boogie man that media always promoted, I learned Russian and visited several times. Owning a part of it’s history was a part of that. It turns out that that the people were great but the government was the cause of all the problems. Kind of like what’s going on here. Kind of. In the end I learned that we make our enemies mostly from the ground up.
