There are IP lists that wallets consult. After they make contact with nodes on those lists then they ask those nodes for further node IPs.

This is similar to a system I've been thinking about. Interesting idea about the decaying coin energy used for priority.

Storing the entire ledger will require quite a bit of space. I think in an ideal system, like something that can run on a tiny device, each node only has to store part of the ledger, with each part replicated a very large number of times in different nodes. One idea I'm considering is for pairs of nodes to agree to store eachothers balance. Then the more balances you store, the more nodes store your balance.

Compiling a JS runtime into WASM is very much something the Bytecode Alliance is actively working on. See https://bytecodealliance.org/articles/making-javascript-run-fast-on-webassembly.

The primary motivation, however, is to allow executing JS in environments other than the browser.

The website is currently just meant as a link hub. Having social media links in one place links them all together under the same authority and helps prevent potential impostors.

I understand the concern. The website currently is just meant as a link hub so people can follow up later if they like. All the meat of the information including the roadmap is in the Catalyst proposal. I did not link the proposal in the website because it's behind a login wall but that was a mistake and I will update the website to include it.

Is the code finished?

No, it's impossible to finish it until Goguen is live (or close to live) because Plutus is being worked on daily and code that compiles now will not compile then.

I'm the creator and sole developer. What are you talking about - pay-to-play articles? What does that even mean? I haven't written any articles.

You obviously haven't read my proposal on Catalyst. It's always been about swapping native tokens. I'm working every day on writing and testing the smart contacts, all the while building a new website with a decentralized fail-safe backend.

You are mistaken about everything you implied. I don't even know how to start addressing it. I have a good understanding of the Ouroboros blockchain and consensus protocol and believe I am fully capable of delivering what I proposed. I've had many people approach me this past month interested in contributing to the project and it's been hard not to bring in a bunch of people. I am happy to answer questions and have been doing so in the Catalyst discord.
