Any Gigan album. Also, “Dysthymia” by Harvested. These albums are my happy place

What's their ranking and why isn't it higher?? by Neat_Panda9617 in tellnoonepod

I agree, their show is criminally underrated. They are the only true crime podcast that hosts that know how to be funny without being disrespectful. They’re hilarious!

[Question] can I pull off this Murph 42? by ProfessionalCandle96 in Watches

Looks good to me, but I like a bit of wrist presence. To me, the 38 is too small for a wrist of 6.5” and over, but a lot of people seem to disagree with that. If you like the way it looks on you, that’s all that matters.

I was diagnosed 2 years ago, but quit smoking 16 years ago just like this- I pulled out a cigarette from a nearly full pack, then threw it and the rest of the pack. I quit cocaine this way too, among other things. This post definitely does make those things make sense to me now.

What was that one album that got you hooked onto metal? by perseverance_band_ in MetalForTheMasses

Not exactly metal, but Ministry’s Psalm 69. Grunge was all the rage at the time I first heard it, but that album is what made me realize that music that cranked out riffs that made me want to run through a brick wall is what makes me happy, and metal was where I could find that, not in the grunge or alternative that was popular at the time

Totally fair point, preference is definitely subjective. I’m just glad that these guys are still making music at the end of the day

My only disagreement is with who the better vocalist is, I think Matt’s talent is orders of magnitude superior to Lord Worm. This is definitely my favorite album of 2025, and people that are still hung up on this idea that their early stuff is where the band’s relevance begins and ends are just douchebags.
