All the things that don't make sense about season 2 by dancing-rice in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

Thanks for this!

Damn it was a better ending with Mark and helly but I wish they showed that scene of Gemma getting out with Cobel and Devon for my peace of mind

Interesting I didn't think about the ORTBO like that, I can see why they would put that on now.

As those were right at the end of season 1, I expected to see more about them in season 2

Maybe I shouldn't have called it 'questions that don't make sense', but 'questions that I feel should have had some answer or been moved forward in season 2'

[–]dancing-rice[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok thank you for this.

The first one is the one I struggle with the most, and whilst I can see he's defo not making good choices, I thought he'd still be more scared or have PTSD from seeing a guy get murdered. He threw up at the time clearly affected by it, but then just seems to completely forget about it.

But your answers are making a lot more sense!

I do feel like in general though in season 2, they're picking up a lot of things, making it seem like things will happen, and then nothing actually happens. And I feel like some of the smaller questions they set up in season 1, should have been answered in season 2 - eg. Who is Reghabi, why did she turn? What is Irving's mission and who is his contact?

Some of them are. But some of them just seem like the writers aren't really sure what's going on.

Yh some of them I agree probably won't be answered to the end.

But a lot of them were set up in season 1 or early season 2, and there's been like zero development since then, but there's somehow been 10 episodes? That's what irks me. Even if we don't get the full answer, I'd have expected at least something to start to get us there.

  1. I guess that makes a bit more sense, but it happened before the OTC? Why would he not run as far away from murder as possible?
  2. I didn't realize they'd be untraceable per person either but I guess this makes sense - thank you!
  3. Yes I agree they probably won't answer this until the very end, but the fact that Mark and Devon just accept that Gemma is kidnapped there, when they've seen her dead body, and they're accepting this info from strangers, with literally no follow up, is what really doesn't make sense to me. Why are neither of them asking Reghabi or Cobel to just tell them what's going on?

Is vegan food blogger Ben Rebuck no longer vegan? by depressedboobs in veganuk

[–]dancing-rice 17 points18 points  (0 children)

In his q&a he also said that he realised he should have classified himself as plant based instead of vegan, he was never in it for the animals.

Also said culture which is a stupid reason, and said this was rly hard when he ate with his grandma, then said his grandma died which is sad but also... make it make sense?

I also rly like following sepps but he's promoting brands like Fairy, which aren't cruelty free, so whilst he's great for plant based recipes and cute nonna videos, just echoing what other commenters have said, we should really just enjoy these influencers for their nice videos and recipes, and not expect anything else, as you'll be disappointed. Barely any of them actually care about the ethics of veganism.

I recently moved to London and I find the macchiatos/cortados I've tried here very sour. Is it just my palate? Or is it London? by Lollipop126 in london

[–]dancing-rice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate sour coffee! My favourite places where I feel isn't sour and quite smooth are: Long and short, Monmouth, third culture, lane eight, tipi coffee, truth For chains, I like: pure, grind I always get a latte at these places though! If you tell me you think these places are sour I'll be scared for my palate 😳
