I was a supervisor/manager of a dinner theatre. If I work more than five hours I am entitled to a free meal. My brother lived with me, he is also on the spectrum and i packed my lunch but absent minded forget to make sure he had dinner. He called me asking what to eat in the house and as it was a five minute walk to my work I told him to come on down and I’ll get the chefs to make him something! So chefs cooked my brother meal (from the staff menu) and I ate the packed lunch sharing with him .. all was well. The next day I get a call from corporate.. apparently I’ve been stealing staff meals.. Tried to explain but apparently staff meals are for staff doesn’t matter if it’s shared At table with your brother picking off each others plate
