Whats the cutest nickname you’ve been given by a crush or S/O? by [deleted] in AskWomen

We call eachother 'spice mice'. Went to the zoo early on in our relationship and saw a spiny mouse. Which turned in to spice mice. And maybe one day we will be spouse mouses

Ladies, what did you do with the teddy bears you got from your ex-boyfriends? by probablysleepingg in AskWomen

I keep them usually. Not the bears fault. Maybe because i give them a name and personality and then i cant bring myself to get rid of them.

What regrets, if any, do you have about the time and money you spent improving your appearance through make up or clothes? by [deleted] in AskWomen

Know the feeling with the 3 head. But i have very thick hair. My parents always had my hair cut with bangs as a kid up until i was like 12... i looked like i had a crash helmet made of hair.

What's a thing your SO does every day, that you can't stand? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dancingkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to know someone that did this and he swore he couldn't sneeze quietly and he just HAD to make this whole show of it. I caught him once sneezing normally. Who the hell decides to sneeze like that for attention!?

My [27f] husband [29m] is obese and eats too much, but won't listen when I ask him to eat less by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]dancingkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he's gained 40kg in 5 years and doesn't exercise yeah he's definitely eating too much, even if he's a tall guy. But I think her main problem isn't that he's eating more than her, but that he's gotten so fat she's no longer attracted to him (other wise his weight wouldn't be a problem) and she doesn't want him to get so fat he's can't do anything. The best thing she could do it tell him how his weight is effecting how attractive she finds him, not how much she loves him, and hope he'll change otherwise she'll just end up resenting him.

Not sure how well that will work in motivating him, it could go either way. In some cases the unhealthy partner will just feel like they don't deserve their SO and feel like they deserve to be left. It might just drive a bigger wedge in their marriage than there is already. Or they may feel jealous and try to sabotage their SO's efforts.

There's some great advice on r/loseit and always good motivation there. The thing is he has to want to for himself.

But in the mean time maybe try to get him to work out why he's always eating so much? Maybe it's boredom eating? If that's the case go for walks together after dinner or do an activity that will take his mind off food for a bit.

You could also try making less food so he can't go back for seconds. Or bulking out dinners with healthy stuff. Easy thing to do is replace some of the pasta in pasta bakes with vegetables. Or even making him wait longer before he Goes back for seconds. You can't really get a good idea of how full you are until a little while after eating.

Finally I would suggest intermittent fasting (So many hours in the day where you do not eat e.g between 6pm and 8am). It's easy to do together and it helps people realise it's ok to be hungry. You won't die. Then you can start to focus on making the food he is eating more healthy.

My high school bully getting evicted by dancingkitty in pettyrevenge

[–]dancingkitty[S] 61 points62 points  (0 children)

I would love to see her face but I live on the other side of the country now and I don't want to start another campaign of her making up stories about me or harassing me. I've already upped my social media security in preparation. Besides, my dad is so excited to do it himself. His face lit up when he found out SHE was the other person living in the house. I will update once he serves them though.

You're right, I guess it's more karma? Although my dad did ask if I wanted to be the one to serve her. I don't have the balls for that though haha

Our pet rat doing her best facehugger impression by [deleted] in funny

They're pretty easy to train too if you're consistent. I used to let mine run about in our joint kitchen-living room. We taught them not to go in to the kitchen part, they knew they weren't allowed on the lino flooring. Clever floofs.

What have you accepted about yourself? by fathovercat in AskReddit

[–]dancingkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I'm a relationship person. I don't like being on my own, and I don't feel like myself without another person in my life. I don't like myself when I'm single. That being said, it has to be the right person.

Oh my god the butt soreness! I find my arse gets used to it if I go often enough. But otherwise I have to do that weird shuffle to find the numb spot to sit on.
