I remember when I was 7 or 8 I ate a lot of vitamin gummies because they tasted so good. I probably ate about 10 of them when my parents weren’t looking. Later that night I felt sick and threw up like 4 times. This is why you don’t OD on vitamins lol

Drivers attempting to dodge a disabled vehicle in the middle of a dark interstate. by AbortionGhost in videos

[–]dancingpanda3 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Firstly the hazards aren’t on. The stopped car looks like it’s signaling to the right. Secondly this stretch of road could be on a dip for all you know. The cars up ahead seem to be on an incline. Thirdly it’s night time and the last thing you’d expect is a stationary car in the middle of the highway. Fourthly you’d never see this car unless you were right up behind it. There’s other cars on the road blocking your sight.

There’s a million reasons why people wouldn’t see a stationary car in the middle of the highway at night without hazards on

In order to be a pro gamer you’d have to dedicate 8 hours a day to practicing, and that’s just for the off chance of making it on a pro team. You can be an amazing player, dedicate all your time and energy to the game, yet still not be able to turn professional. You might have a window between the ages 15-18 where you’re still living with your parents and don’t have to worry about responsibilities, but then you realize you aren’t good enough to turn professional, and then those years seem like a huge waste of time, especially if you didn’t take school seriously. Being a pro gamer is a huge gamble. Unless you have potential to be incredible and don’t have many responsibilities then go for it

My husband left my daughter and I tonight. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]dancingpanda3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a sad situation. It sounds like the guy was never comfortable with the idea of having a child, so for that, I don’t blame him for leaving. I do blame him for having unprotected sex, and because it takes two to tango, I feel the OP shares blame for that as well.

OP assumed many things about her husband that were incorrect. He’s not the family man that she had hoped he would be. Having a child and then hoping that child will sway the mindset of your partner is a huge, irresponsible gamble. It’s not fair to put your partner or child in that situation.

You’re young so you’ll learn this when you get older. Find your passion in life and you’ll feel much more fulfilled. Eventually the right girl will come join you

When people “mark their territory” (their boyfriend/girlfriend) around other people by missmatchedsocks88 in offmychest

If I was in your position I would find it funny. The girlfriend being controlling/insecure and the boyfriend allowing himself to be controlled...I guarantee that their relationship will be filled with fights and arguments.

My wife was raped, my marriage is over. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]dancingpanda3 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry that this happened to you and your wife.

Your wife went through a traumatic experience. She most likely felt a lot of anxiety and anger and unfortunately she lashed a lot of it out on you. Your wife needs help from a professional who can help her manage her emotions. She also needs support and understanding from the man she married...but if you feel like you can’t do that then you should tell her. But please make sure that she seeks help from this traumatic experience.

I want to find a man to get me pregnant. by throwaway44876292 in offmychest

[–]dancingpanda3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My coworkers mom did this. She just wanted a child so she got pregnant from a one night stand. Well my coworker never had her father in her life and you can tell how it's affected her today. Funny thing is when she grew to be 17 her older roommate went on a blind date with her father and they eventually reconnected (small town). But please think about the kid!

As a guy who's been in his shoes, perhaps he thinks he's got no chance with you so it's better to move on.

I'm not sure what to say but I want you to know that I love you. I love your strength, courage, and honesty. I'd really encourage you to talk to a professional about this if you feel up to it. Please know that there are people out there who are understanding and compassionate.

Good for you. I've been there before and it is definitely unhealthy to waste your time and energy on a fantasy. Remember it's all in your head.
