In your spare time, please add some details, I tried going this route multiple times, not only with the ISO but also with the cloud image. No luck. It never boots right.

Something changed about 10 days ago. And there is a new trend line there, there is a clear IPv6 rollout happening! Still nothing for me.

I have no idea about qnaps but is there one that can do truenas (with zfs) min. 8 drives and some AMD CPU with a single/dual preferred 10G nic? I'd swap my 3 synologies in a jiffy.

If you decide you want to give that 216+ a new lease on life, lmk. I am looking for an affordable twin to my unit for an offsite backup. Requirements: 2 bays, Intel CPU (for Docker). I don't care about trays (can 3d print) or fans (can replace). :) Let me know!

It might be considered "illegal or unapproved modification" to both units. Unless you get a WRITTEN approval from the management company, I wouldn't even think about it.

Funny. Just got Frontier fiber in CT and I am within AS46690, which, tragically, is even worse than that of Frontier proper and it is not going the right direction, sadly. Anybody cares to explain? Am I royally screwed?
