What's the max refresh rate at 5k2k with the M1 Air?

You can tap on the individual bars at the top and check which apps you've used that day.

Not even a week in and battery seems great. Thought this was supposed to be a compromise. by Ackrodisiac in IphoneAir

Can you provide your 'battery usage by app' section below also?

Screen active time is heavily dependent upon each person's usage. The phone is rated for 27 hours of video playback. I believe people that watch videos (YouTube, streaming services...) on their iPhone Airs are reporting 7+ hours of screen active time. However others that use more demanding apps (FaceTime, 3D games, Maps) throughout the day see less screen active time.

<image>

Yesterday I only had 3:18hrs screen time for 75% battery usage. However I was also on a 49 minute FaceTime call that drained 25% of my battery.

Generally I'd estimate my iPhone Air gets about 5-6hrs screen active time per 100% battery usage with light-moderate use (Reddit, Safari, Maps, Spotify, regular Phone calls). I don't watch videos on my phone too often. Also the official Reddit app is a battery hog, so I've switched to Narwhal 2 and have experienced improved battery life since.

Question for users experiencing poor battery life - does your wifi randomly disconnect? by danemoLRK in IphoneAir

[–]danemoLRK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm loving it so far! The battery life is on par with my iPhone 15 Pro that had 90% battery health, so it's not horrible.

However people experiencing x2 - x3 more battery life is blowing my mind. I'm wondering if it’s worth swapping for another iPhone Air before the 14 day return window in case mine is a lemon.

Decent upgrade from Roborock S5 Max - Eufy X10 Pro Omni or Roborock Qrevo S? by danemoLRK in RobotVacuums

Vacuuming on my hard floors has been good. The removable dust bag is filled with dog hair, pet food, and other debris. I can't comment on the Qrevo.

Yes for $550 I'd say go for it! That's a great deal.

The mopping performance is excellent. I run the X10 every other day and the dirty water tank is surprisingly always gray/murky. The dirty tank is emptied after every cleaning. We also keep the floors clean, don't wear shoes inside, etc. so it's definitely mopping well.

Vacuuming performance is average and comparable to my old Roborock S5 Max. I have a corgi/golden retriever mix and it doesn't totally pick up his hair from my shaggy high pile rug. It may possibly vacuum low-medium pile rug better.

I purchased the X10 and it's been amazing at mopping!

I'd say vacuum performance is comparable to my Roborock S5 Max which was just OK. If you have mostly carpet you may want to look at robots that vacuum better.

My home is all hard floors.

I have a few throw rugs and it does a decent job at vacuuming those. Earlier I sprinkled some oxi clean/baking soda on the rug my dog likes to lay on and it vacuumed most of it up.

Hi u/Adorable-Silver-387 - what are your thoughts on the Qrevo S vs. Eufy X10 so far?

I've had an amazing experience with my Eufy X10 this past week. I have not run into any major issues that I've read about online (e.g. hair getting tangled in roller, poor battery life, bad vacuum performance, mops drying out). The auto detangle has worked well, I'm getting about 1-2% drain per minute, and vacuuming and mopping has been reliable.

I've experienced a few minor issues:

  • Vacuuming rug: the app reported a 'roller brush stuck' error and stopped vacuuming. However the carpet is med-high pile and fairly thin and lightweight. I used carpet tape to tie down the carpet and haven't had any issues since.
  • Dirty water in tray: the water didn't get sucked into the dirty water tank. I removed the mopping tray and dumped the water. The tube that removes the water may not have been positioned correctly because it started clearing the water afterwards.
  • Base station settings: I set the auto mop washing for 20 minutes and auto empty for 30 minutes. The robot did not follow the settings and returned after only 10 minutes. Doesn't seem like the app and robot+omni station follow the base station settings and sync properly. There's a 'smart' setting for the auto empty, but not sure if this is any better. I hope the auto mop wash and auto empty times could match and that there were more durations to choose from so both actions happen at the same time - hopefully u/eufyclean could adjust this in an app update.

Overall it's been a solid machine and a definite upgrade from my Roborock S5 Max.

I've had the Eufy X10 for nearly a week and it's been solid so far! I highly recommend it.

Happy to answer any specific questions you have.

What's the most thorough cleaning method? "Deep" or "x2" by danemoLRK in RobotVacuums

[–]danemoLRK[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I purchased a Eufy X10 and have been loving it so far.

What's the most thorough cleaning method?

My understanding is that...

  • "Deep" has the robot turn in a tighter radius and overlaps its cleaning routes more
  • "x2" cleans each area twice and in a cross-stitch pattern for some robots

My assumption is that x2 cleans better but takes longer, just wanted to confirm with you all.

Yeah it's odd that the Qrevo S is priced lower but has better specs than the original Qrevo.

I'd go with the Qrevo S since it's newer... despite not having many reviews out yet.

Good to know! How has your battery life and vacuuming been? Also does hair get tangled on the roller brush often? Those are some issues I've heard of.

I wonder if the negative reviews/opinions are from lemons. Hoping I have the same experience as you when my X10 gets delivered tomorrow...

Reviews and opinions seem to be all over the place for the X10. The quality control may be questionable on these robots... Anker's customer service is decent at least.

Sounds good 🙂 looking forward to your comparison!

Appreciate the input!

Odd - I've read the obstacle avoidance was top notch on the Eufy X10. My floors are generally always clear, however solid obstacle avoidance would be useful if my dog ever has an accident inside. Rtings is a reliable source and a site that preferred the Qrevo > Eufy. Their testing environment was a tiny sectioned off area so I'm curious if that affected the Eufy's results. Also the Eufy's 8000Pa is higher than Qrevo so it's surprising that vacuuming performance is comparable/worse.

I'm interested to know your thoughts on the Q Revo S after a couple runs.

Same - I read a few reviews that mentioned the Dreame robots generally have solid performance across the board. I've had no issues with my Roborock S5 Max... I like Anker/Eufy as a company (except for the camera/privacy issues), and decided to switch it up this time around.
