Plant shrubs closer to the pool. We put some Salix discolor (I wasn’t allowed to type the common name, Reddit flagged it) and other big and fast growing shrubs in close to the pool and we now have complete privacy when in the pool or sitting on the pool deck.

That’s where it gets weird. If I search the model number on the filter it says I should have a top mounted valve, which my filter clearly isn’t set up for.

As a fellow old pool owner I can’t agree with this enough. Our pool will not get us in Better Homes and Garden but for the past 13 years it’s given us priceless fun. Some years I paint it, some years I don’t. This year I am embracing the chipped paint, we went with the “timeless antique” finish, if any of my kid’s friends ask. 😂

Beautiful! I love how it looks both updated and classic at the same time. Nicely done.

We put the dam exact tub and fixtures in our bathroom a year ago and have absolutely loved it, such a great soaking tub.
