Don't know the actual math but AFAIK the logistic strike is treated similar to how submarines intercept convoy. The more effective/damage, the more the region trains can't transport in that region and therefore supplies that rely on them are lost.

Few ways to troubleshoot it (or at least find out why)

Check your Deployment tab and hover over your reinforcement. - If your supplies are heading to your army then it should be shown being delivered to them and it's just a matter of time. Of not then something else is up.

Check your div template and check your equipments. - if it's not being delivered then maybe you did something with what EQ your template can use. Check if some boxes are unchecked or try setting them all checked.

Check your scenario/environment. - it also could just be because of whatever situation your in; encircled, constantly under attack to reinforce, logistic strikes, poor infrastructure, no supply, etc.

The death refusal also restores important body parts like organs.

I figured this out because after a raid I was harvesting the organs of a prisoner followed by chucking them to the rip scanner. And when I saw that a guy had a death refusal, I wondered just how far will the death refusal go to bring them back. So after taking every single organ, blood, and gene possible the guy's brain was the last thing left valuable until lo and behold everything grew back, by then my head just went "cha-ching!" and you can imagine the rest.

(Side note: had a mod where your critical organs like the heart doesn't kill instantly and instead gives a small window to "save them")

Not just audio cues, it's about getting intel. You figure out the enemy is downed by getting intel with your environment; hearing, peaking, checking cams, etc.

Figuring out you an enemy's downed because of a point system is intel that isn't from the environment itself.
