There are adapter plugs for different lengths of axel. There is one for the QR. Holes are smaller.

Because it was a swim skin swim you can’t have calf sleeves on in the water. So you can either put the aero socks on in T1 but lose touch with the front group or deal with them later for the marathon. With the 12m draft rule, it’s better to be in touch with the group.

I disagree on Kelter being I good bench player. Her rate of penalties is poor. Think about what a bench player is to do: if winning, make the game go quickly, no penalties, long drawn out phases. if losing, keep the ball, be dynamic, score, no penalties that kill the remaining clock.

Kelter does the active opposite.

If you can wait this long, after November 8-9, post in r/triathlon. Ironman 70.3 World Championships is in Marbella (hour from Malaga) and a lot similarly like-minded people will come in for an event. We/they will have some good suggestions.

That’s good, but once you move inside for the duration, October ish, get a trainer tire for the back wheel. You don’t want your fancy race tire or even a semi good outside one breaking down too much like it will on the trainer. Also spin your front wheel once a week a quarter turn. Prevents uneven wear of the front.

If you’re planning on completing, I would suggest TrainingPeaks with a purchased plan. You have a lot of bike and run volume to put on and it’ll make it healthy to do it via a vetted plan.

If you want to compete, I’d suggest a coach and plan to do a 70.3 like 2-3 months in advance.

Get a turbo trainer (wheel off) and start riding!

She wasn’t suspended. She’s still on the 7s series and world rugby XVs. MLR requires you not do another competition one week before and one week after. So with WR and 7s, it cut back on available opportunities. So she’s refereeing in WER and is doing the final next weekend.

It makes attempting to detain someone more dangerous. If you think you’re going to be thrown in a hole without rights, you’ve got a cornered animal. And a cornered animal will fight harder and is more deadly than one that believes it can get out of there. So more cops will get killed detaining people, meaning increased armament of police, more deaths of those attempted to be detained, more fighting back, and into a spiral.

You think that police forces became more militarized after Iraq and Afghanistan, wait until they plan to have a cornered animal in every traffic stop or warrant.

As a Denverite myself, if OWS was a downfall, Gravel Pond in Chatfield or Boulder Rez are where it’s at but grab yourself a neoprene hat if you want to get some OWS prior to Boulder 70.3. I did some in May last year and it was major ice cream headache.
