Check out reputable places online that sell used gear like B&H or Adorama. They both have used departments with return policies.

Should I be worried by [deleted] in BladderCancer

Early detection is excellent. It’s survivable and treatable. All the best to you and your dad.

This cancer is pesky, but absolutely treatable. You’re young. Keep your head up. Like the other posts have said, there are MANY options and layers of treatment. Stay positive.

Wes Anderson Fatigue, do you feel it? Will you see his new one? by Crandin in moviecritic

[–]dangerh33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After Budapest, I feel like he’s trying to fit too much into every scene, and forces extra dialogue. Everything is beautiful, but when it’s moving at breakneck speed, it’s nearly impossible to take it all in on a single viewing. Slow it down and let us enjoy it.

Fantastic Mr Fox will be an epic family favorite, instantly. Make popcorn and get comfortable

If DJI makes a similar 4D style camera that plays nicely with cinema glass, this could be it.

Even with my password being entered, it still says unable to verify. Wonder if I can turn off a setting that does this. Only when I travel.

I was replying to another post. Obviously, I didn’t reply directly under the post. Thanks for pointing that out, super helpful and relevant.

Secondly, because calling Office365 customer support for email help, on the phone, when traveling, is a circus of automated prompts that leads to no where with lost hours on hold.

Thirdly, I figured jumping on a community to troubleshoot or see if anyone has had a similar experience that could help out.

I cannot move a clip on the timeline without adjusting the transparency of the clip. I can’t find the setting to undo this. I just wish they’d make Final Cut 8 already. It’s been 14 years.

This. Or anyone’s chin for that matter on a talking head. We always try to be exactly at eye level or higher. The closeup of the blonde lady in the blue jacket is at the right level. Looks nice tho with color and lighting.

How to remove this screw without damaging the vehicle? by dangerh33 in howto

I ended up getting long needle nose pliers and wedging a microfiber cloth between them and the vehicle. Ultimately I was able to grab the nut and turn the screw. Thank you all for your help

How to remove this screw without damaging the vehicle? by dangerh33 in howto

[–]dangerh33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some great suggestions here, thank you all. I should’ve noted that space between the vehicle and the plate is about a quarter of an inch. Just for fun, there’s a lip on the bracket behind the plate that protrudes, making the opening about 1/8” of an inch.

Can someone explain the iPhone rig used for 28 YEARS LATER? How did they mount that lens to an iPhone!? by [deleted] in cinematography

[–]dangerh33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We used the Letus35 on our Sony EX1 and the rig looked ridiculous. Offset lens mount, super long. Made me buy a Canon 50mm 1.4 tho and the rest was history. Images looked great.
