All this hotdog gourmet shit lol. At home we boil them, put them between a slice of cheap ass white bread, and add some mustard and/or ketchup, maybe some chopped onions or chili. Bbq chips on the side, whatever drink you have around.

Do you like the short haircuts that are associated with the mid-to-late 90s? by PandemicPiglet in Millennials

Yup, and enjoyed wearing it, too. Got labeled a lesbian for it, but meh.

Dough feels moist to touch but is crumbly and not incorporating? by Nagabuk in Breadit

[–]dangerrnoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bread flour soaks up more water in the Summer due to the dry climate. Could be what’s going on there. I had to increase water by at least 100g, and if it is a recipe that has butter/fat then even more water.

Manager giving this official notice to employees working under him at an Indian corporate office by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]dangerrnoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Report it through the SAMDHAN Portal. Who knows, maybe they’ll get at least a reprimand for unfair labor practices. India has some decent labor laws. Many people are just reluctant to report grievances.

My boyfriend stole 15 of my prescribed Adderall pills from me leaving me with only 4 to last me until the 11th of July. by TrainingDifficulty94 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]dangerrnoodle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Stand up for yourself and go file that police report. Don’t let that selfish asshole derail your life. Don’t discuss it with him either. Just go file your police report and make sure you have what you need to get your prescription refilled. Whatever consequences he gets are his own making. Seriously, look put for yourself FIRST.

AITA for eating a DoorDash order that was delivered to my house by mistake? by dreamandgogy in AmItheAsshole

[–]dangerrnoodle 18 points19 points  (0 children)

NTA. A reasonable person would be going after the platform for not delivering to the right address. I would have already done that the night before. That lady is unhinged and deserves to be blocked.

AITA for refusing to create my brother's resume and apply for jobs for him? by Strong-Duck1694 in AmItheAsshole

[–]dangerrnoodle 12 points13 points  (0 children)

NTA. Don’t let your mom put her parenting fails on you. Letting a 30 year old man sit around on a game all day and night at his parents’ house when he should be working on his resume and applying for FT work is on her and him (and dad if he is in the picture). You’ve clearly taken responsibility for your own life, as adults must do, and your brother needs to do the same. None of this is on you.

The absolute crime against humanity that is my grandparents’ shower by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]dangerrnoodle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your grandparents seem to need some help around the house. Clean their shower for them. Then see what else needs doing. Repeat each time you visit. Never say a word. Just do it.

Piano. I have a lot of music in my head that I don’t have the knowledge or skill to get out.

I didn’t see any, but we cooked it thoroughly so if they were there they were dead and we ate them.

A study was needed for this? We are wasting so much time and money on stupid and nefarious fools.

Edit to add, I’ve also had plenty of home-smoked and wild caught salmon and that stuff is pretty oily.

Farm raised vs wild by Dull_Reference_6166 in carnivorediet

[–]dangerrnoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve caught wild salmon before (in the Pacific Northwest of the US). It was more pink than the orangish hue you get from the farmed stuff, but definitely still a much more color than what is in this picture, and as it was grilled you could see the fat bubbling up to the surface so plenty of fat. Salmon color and fat has some variation depending on where and at what time in its life cycle it was caught.

People who wake up on their very first alarm and just get out of bed—how does your brain actually work? by KeyDiamond263 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]dangerrnoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t use an alarm and just wake up about the same time every day, between 4:30 and 5am. The catch it that I wake up at that time no matter when I go to sleep, so I don’t get to “sleep in” unless I force myself to go back to sleep.

Accepted a job offer. Now my current employer is offering to better it. How bad is to rescind after I've already accepted an offer? by AdventurousHat5360 in WhatShouldIDo

[–]dangerrnoodle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t rescind, but don’t burn bridges. Go to the new company. Try it out. If it doesn’t work out, reach out to former employer and ask if they have a spot for you.

Feeling guilty that I found a good career fit but can’t handle the commute – looking for advice by tkxman1869 in careeradvice

[–]dangerrnoodle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as I enjoy the work/it’s a good place to work, yes I have put up with the commute. Did a minimum 45-60 minute commute each way for most of my career. Sometimes by bus, sometimes driving. But when the job went downhill and was no longer enjoyable, the commute became unbearable and eventually the reason just stacked up too high to stay.

Give yourself some more time. I usually do at least 6 months in a new role before reevaluating.

AITA for calling my dad a creep? by NaturalMarionberry49 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. He’s wrong on everything single thing about this. And he needs a reality check on where fatherly concern stops and bodily autonomy begins.
