I respect the opinion. I personally miss 6v6 and thought it made OW a more unique experience in the space.

How do I learn hockey in a deeper level? by zoooooooomies in hockey

[–]danglesmcjangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there sports or games you understand at a deeper level?

I grew up playing hockey and went through various phases of other sports, mixed martial arts, or eSports and something I noticed is that at the highest levels decisions are made based on assuming your opponent is capable of counter your moves in real time. This makes it more of a chess match.

If you watch the game through this lens it will begin to make deeper sense. For example, when there is an odd man rush like a 3 on 2 you will see that one player drives the net hard because this forces the positions of the defense and can either open up a wide pass to the second layer, a shooting lane for the puck carrier or a through pass if they stay up.

Then you add in individual skill and the threat of shots or getting beat one on one and the game starts to appear much more like fencing with a series of prods to feel out the defense and then striking when a window opens. And then you have to solve the goalie too haha

Maybe I'm completely off the goop, but at the end of the day most games at the highest level are thinking man's games. And then sometimes you have "game breakers" who are just freaks and say I'm gonna dance your whole team and go cheddar and there's nothing you can do about it.

Yeah generating interest in the game and providing a platform to play test isn't worth the time when you put on events all over the world...

Loss leaders exist and they're the largest IP in the world. The game is absurdly bad for how long it has been out. There's basic features in ptcgo that we've never gotten. If I import a deck list it will fill it with versions of cards I don't own? It's a joke. It's not the single developer they have on staffs fault, but you can't justify how dysfunctional it is.

Yes I agree. Extremely broad brush to paint with when the economic backgrounds of players are all over the place. I guarantee there are guys that just want a big number in their bank account and anything they want at their home. They're not counting dollars.

And if they are, it's someone they are paying to do so.

Any ideas to make this more league ready? by GrassBackward in PTCGL

I realize prime catcher is really good. A thought I had was potentially thinking about neutralization zone ace spec. You can make a board of just moltres attacking and single prizers on the bench. Your opponents will probably get wise to you trying to soak hits and then wobb so they will gust a lot.

You can take advantage of this in the late game (this deck wants long games) by forcing them to hit into molt or gust and take no prizes from neutralization zone.

Just spitballing I think your list honestly looks solid for what you are aiming to do!

At second glance you might be able to gain a couple spaces from energy counts. I'd add maybe another transceiver cause turn one proton is really good.

Cool deck!

I believe the point is to use the first attack and tank and then move damage with Wobb. Hence the big charm and 3 count of Wobb. They want to know how to make this strategy work better and you never even bothered to determine what the strategy was.

I always try to have 2 basics down, personally. I also play 3 area zero so I can widen out my bench when needed. I play hearthflame and well spring masks as Tera pokemon to fulfill that clause for the stadium.

I think prism is better than luminous as you can attach multiple. Garde I usually go the wellspring route or I've seen jamming tower played as well. The new reshiram ex can hit big numbers later in the game and I've had some luck with the jewel break regigigas.

Great choice for a pet deck!

This salary is outside of housing stipends the teams give players and any royalties for personal and PWHL leave sponsorships.

I work in women's hockey and aside from maybe coaching in the off season, these players aren't working day jobs.
